We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. Second week of the year, is full of renewals. ABC renews Cougar Town for a third season. In this case, the same day as Pretty Little Liars renewal order for second season, Secret Life of the American Teenager renewal, Castle renewal, Grey´s Anatomy renewal, Private Practice renewal, Modern Family renewal and The Middle renewal. Cougar Town renewal for season three comes with no shock at all to anyone since the show is being solid in the ratings gaining 3%, and the last couple of seasons ABC did the whole comedy block pickup the same day.
We´ll get to see more of that great cast as we follow a show that only mistaken the name (And fortunately, even the show runner knows it and teases himself and the show). It´s probably alongside Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and How I Met Your Mother the best sitcom ensemble. Want to hear your thoughts on this statement of mine.

Yes Martha, they should really cancel the Emmy winning Modern Family. Is the writing over your head or does the gay thing give you the willies? Other than that you would have to be an imbecile to think ABC should cancel Modern Family.
Cougar Town’s easily one of the best sitcoms on television. Hope they bring it back because it’s considerably better than the trash currently occupying its Wednesday evening slot.
Love Cougar Town. My own complaints are that no one ever seems to work, and Ellie, the stay at home mom, never takes care of her child. I have a four-year-old and can’t spend enough time with him, he’s so great. As for the show’s whit, I love it. Modern Family and Cougar Town are perfect back-to-back.
COUGARTOWN is the WORST tv show ever! Its such a try hard and its not funny at all. Its so stupid. Some shows are stupid but still funny. COUGARTOWN is just useless. Waste of time.
Cougartown is one of the best shows I’ve seen lately! Very funny if your in your 40′s you can relate! We look forward to it and bought season one on dvd. Glad it’s coming back!
I thought I would hate this show so I didn’t watch the first season…Wish I had! This show is freaking hilarious! So glad there’s more to come!

Cougar Town is one of the best comedies running, along with Outsourced, and Modern Family. I give an A+++. Anyone who doesn’t like it has NO sense of humor whatsoever.
this show is so fricking hilarious! every idea that they have for the “group” is so original. especially the idea of the group itself. the laughs never stop. every line of banter from beginning to end is so unique and funny. it doesn’t really matter if anyone posts negative comments about this show, or says they don’t like it or what have you. the simple fact is that these people have absolutely Zero sense of humor. besides the fact that they took the time to seek out this message board and again took the time to post about it. Why? What’s the point? Anyway, cheers to all you out there with a fantastic sense of humor like myself. This show cracks me up from beginning to end. When I first heard about this show, I made a pre-judgement about how stupid it would be and that Courtney Cox would be a flake (which she is, but in a good way), and the comedy would be dry and lame. And that it was just a way for her to redeem herself since she hadn’t done anything good since Friends. I am Soo glad that I forced myself to give it a chance, because there isn’t another show like it. The writers are fantastic. This show is proof that there are people who still believe that you shouldn’t take life too seriously, otherwise what is the point of living. We should all be so lucky as to have a group of people in our lives who “get” us no matter how we are, and that are there for us, and just “hang out” in such a casual, (not seriously) judgmental capacity, and just have fun. This show is fantastic and I praise the writers.
Really like the show, but HATE Travis, Jules’ son. We hate everything about him…. his grey ghost skin (they live in Florida!!), his greasy gross haircut, his doughy face, his weak, uninteresting character. Please send him away to school for good. He is the absolute worst part of this show.
Cougartown was very funny in the first season. But lately it has become extremely boring and predictable.

I do not understand what the hell is going on in Cougar town, however, what is apparent is that Cox’ character is a take on Monica from Friends, she has almost a Phobe, Rachel, Joey, Chandler and Ross around her, massaging her ego in this show, and her duck face from her plastic surgery and her botox is just a shame. It is one big Courtney Cox’ ego trip that makes no sense, however, money is spent on the show so it will appeal to many, maybe people who still secretly miss Friends…..and what the hell has the show got to do with Cougars?
Hilarious! Living in Florida – I’ve met these people. Not everyone has to do the “grown up” stereotype. The cast has great chemistry.
CT is awesome! The highlight of TV watching for the week. The writting is A++++ and is unmatched to any other comedy on the air now.
Please, please, please don’t cancel this show. Can’t wait to see it again hopefull in 2012! ? Haven’t seen the show on for a while.

simply great. It makes me so happy to watch this show..
That’s it….The show makes me and my daughter happy… It is funny, silly and just all around light hearted fun. I hope they don’t take it off any time too soon. Weds night tv is mommy/daughter night of tv – don’t get much of that with a teenager these days.. When is it returning? It’s the end of Sept and nothing doing yet…….?

This show just shows where the comedic side of TV has gone. Talk about a show trying to boost someone’s ego, Cox’s and Phillips. There are no funny parts , even dry humor would be a nice change to this program. Have you looked to see who produced this, Cox and her ex- hubby. Also, cougars? Kind of gives cougars a bad name!!!
