storage-wars-cancelled-renewed-ae-second-seasonWe are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. A&E renews Storage Wars for a second season. In its Dec.1 hourlong debut, Storage Wars drew 2 million viewers, A&E’s best premiere numbers for an unscripted series last year. The series has been growing since, averaging 2.3 million viewers to date.  Thus making it a non brainer decision to renew Storage Wars early.

The second season renewal order for Storage Wars by A&E consists on 20 episodes. Production is starting already, and the show will air probably in late spring or summer 2011.

What is Storage Wars About? Plot

Storage Wars is a reality television series on the A&E Network premiering in 2010. When rent is not paid on a storage locker for three months in California, the contents are sold off by an auctioneer. The show follows professional buyers Dan and Laura Dotson who purchase the contents based only on what they can see when the door is opened and their efforts to turn a profit on the merchandise.
