I am not so sure of what to do with this one, wether or not to add it to the lists of cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012 mainly because it´s the show taking a hiatus, but by no means HBO is cancelling Curb Your Enthusiasm, and it´s more of a decision by Larry David of bringing it back or not.
As EW reports, “It means whatever [for Curb that] Larry wants it to mean,” HBO co-president Richard Plepler said. “He has essentially carte blanche. When he wants [Curb] to come back, we’ll be thrilled.”
This is all because Larry David is preparing a movie for HBO, and that means he has no time to produce season nine of the show, but if he decides to do so, HBO will bring the show back.
The movie is yet to be named, and yet to be said what´s it about. But being from the pen of Larry David, who cares. It´ll be worth watching. Also, Greg Mottola (Paul, Superbad) will direct.
