Although CBS hasn´t already renewed Criminal Minds for a fifth season. Now, reports say that CBS is going to renew Criminal Minds for a new season. So, everything´s good!
Criminal Minds is an American crime drama series that premiered September 22, 2005 on CBS. The show is produced by The Mark Gordon Company in association with ABC Studios and CBS Paramount Network Television. It follows the adventures of a team of profilers from the FBI’s Behavioral Analysis Unit (BAU) at Quantico, Virginia. Criminal Minds differs from many criminal system procedural dramas by focusing on the criminal rather than the crime itself.
The series’ third season, which premiered on September 26, 2007, was interrupted in late 2007 by the industry-wide WGA strike. It aired its last pre-strike episode on January 23, 2008. Following the resolution of the strike, the show returned to air on April 2, 2008. On May 14, 2008, Criminal Minds was renewed for a fourth season, which premiered on September 24, 2008.
What is Criminal Minds About? – Plot
Originally, the series centered on Jason Gideon (Mandy Patinkin), one of the BAU’s best profilers. On July 17, 2007, Patinkin was released from his role on the show upon his request. He was replaced by Joe Mantegna who plays David Rossi, who joined the cast several episodes after Patinkin left.[1] Stories now center on David Rossi (Mantegna), BAU’s Unit Chief Aaron Hotchner (Thomas Gibson), and the BAU unit staff. Hotchner struggles to balance his family life and his job. The BAU consists of Derek Morgan (Shemar Moore), Dr. Spencer Reid (Matthew Gray Gubler), Jennifer Jareau (|A.J. Cook), Penelope Garcia (Kirsten Vangsness), and Emily Prentiss (Paget Brewster). The team works out of the FBI Academy at Quantico, Virginia, but travels around the United States pursuing the most dangerous criminals. Many episodes begin and end with a quote relevant to the episode. Gideon recited most quotes until he left the series; since then each BAU member has said the quotes.

Veruy pleased that it is returning for a 5th season. CBS needs to continue with programming that appeals to intellect rather than bordom.

CM is a great show! One of the few gems of network TV- it’s fresh, different and the characters are intriguing. Please don’t cancel this show!

criminal minds is awesome…i hope it doesn’t get cancelled! it’s one of the few shows that is actually interesting, different and smart! Don’t cancel good shows!

I am so glad that CRIMINAL MINDS will be back for another season. Personally, I prefer Mantegna over Patinkin, and the fact that the other characters are being developed more is great. I also like the different character giving the quote at the beginning and end of the episode instead of just one person.

Criminal Minds is by far the best show on television.
Each character is essential, and all of them are fantastic.
I am so thankful they were renewed.
I look so foward to every Wednesday night.

Great show, makes you think along with the team.
I liked the episode when Hoch boss almost lost it
in Milwaukee after looking at the body.
Kirsten Vangsness can talk dirty to me anytime.

I am very pleased that Criminal Minds has returned. This show has given me insight into the pschology of humans and I look forward to the quotes at the beginning and ending of the shows. I have put some of these quotes on my email signature. I am looking forward to many more episodes of Criminal Minds. I also like the characters; they represent a uniqueness and individuality, interesting to learn more!

Im so glad Criminal Minds is coming back for a 5th season but will it be a full 20+ episode series..or does it just stop at the latest on november 25th for the 100th episode?

Criminal minds has few good episodes, however, it sucks as a series. Same crap every week. They make you think that profiling is more of an exact science than it really is. Admittedly, many series wrap up their shows in the last five minutes. Criminal Minds has taken their psychic, profiling to a new low. Any FBI agent or profiler will tell you that profiling is an educated guess at best. Our heros at CM seem to figure everything out and save the day in the last three minutes! Come on, I know it’s television/Hollyhood, but the premise is week and the acting is terrible at best. Thank God for Joe Montagna, the only believable character in the show.(stick to musicals Mandy Patinkin).

I love this show because it takes you further into the actions of the killer I like watching a helping them get to the who and how they catch the criminal I hope its a very long time before they are canceled. I hated seeing agent gideon leave though.
