It seems to me those viewers who disregard psychotherapy as "nonsense", won't like in treatment. Those who are more intuitive, more visceral, and three-dimensional emotionally will absolutely love the show, as I do. Perhaps for those dealing with some emotional baggage, the show might be hard to watch as Paul's patients peel-back the layers of their heads & hearts (written remarkably - and absolutely STUNNING performances by the casts).

I've purchased season one on DVD, and am waiting to buy season two. HBO, this program is much different from just about any other programming anywhere. The particular demographic inhaling every episode are people you don't want to lose. Gabriel and Dianne need to have a shot at growing on people.

The intense, powerful issues In Treatment deals with won't be immediately "safe" or appreciated. Don't change a thing, let three unfold.

Thank you HBO for being bold, smart, and farsighted in giving us In Treatment...something alive, with pulse, makes you feel/think. Those uninterested in thinking can find a plethora of crap on the screen to sedate them.

I had switched HBO for Showtime for a few months. I switched back mainly because I missed watching "In Treatment". Ever since I got HBO back, I have been wondering where the show went! So glad it's back! So many intelligent shows have been canceled that it is getting unbearable! Stop the carnage!

Absolutely! HBO really blew it with Deadwood and John from Cincinnati. I'm glad they had the sense to renew this wonderful show.
