We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And this time some great news for all those League fans.
FX announced they are reneweing The League for a second 13 episode season, that will air on Mid Summer 2010.
The League is a sitcom, which premiered on FX on October 29, 2009. The series is a semi-scripted comedy about a fantasy football league.
Who´s in The League on FX? Cast
* Mark Duplass as Pete, the 3-time defending champion of the league who recently separated from his wife.
* Nick Kroll as Ruxin, a defense attorney who will go to great lengths (including selling out his friends) to do well in the league.
* Jon Lajoie as Taco, a perpetually stoned and unemployed musician, as well as Kevin’s brother, whose carefree lifestyle makes the other guys envious.
* Stephen Rannazzisi as Kevin, a district attorney whose wife actually helps him run his team. League commissioner.
* Paul Scheer as Andre, a rich plastic surgeon whose naivety makes him the brunt of many jokes.
* Katie Aselton as Jenny, Kevin’s wife who secretly helps him run his team.
* Leslie Bibb as Meegan, Pete’s estranged ex-wife who hates fantasy football and wants to start a family with him.
* Nadine Velazquez as Sophia, Ruxin’s Wife.
* Janina Gavankar as Shiva

This is imo, one of the funniest shows that has ever aired on TV.

I personally know nothing about fantasy football and couldn’t care less about it, but The League is one of the funniest TV series I’ve watched. It’s up there with Sunny, in my books. I’m so glad it’s been renewed!
