It´s always good when your first scripted series ever gets good critics, good numbers and an early renewal order. I mean, it is clearly a good sign. And that is exactly what happened to Debbie Macomber´s Cedar Cove, getting renewed by Hallmark for season two.

“Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove” starring internationally renowned actress Andie MacDowell, has received a second season renewal. The critically acclaimed series has garnered tremendous popularity and success, already seen by tens of millions of viewers. Since the series launched on July 20, “Debbie Macomber’s Cedar Cove” has made Hallmark Channel the #1-rated cable television network, Saturdays 8-9 p.m. The two-hour series pilot debuted as the #1 primetime ad-supported movie of the week and day, delivering a 2.4 HH rating with over 3.8 million unduplicated viewers. Additionally, the premiere episode was the #1 general entertainment program for cable in social media as measured by Trendrr.
