Update: Omar Epps and Robert Sean Leonard already signed to be in the eight and probably last season of House, but as a Shocker, Lisa Edelstein IS leaving House MD.
Cuddy´s Lisa Edelstein PR on leaving House MD
Lisa Edelstein just released the following statement: “After much consideration, I am moving onward with a combination of disappointment at leaving behind a character I have loved playing for seven years and excitement of the new opportunities in acting and producing that lie ahead.” So this means Lisa Edelstein´s Dr Cuddy is leaving House, and what will that mean for the show? Who knows. Maybe House ends up with Olivia Wilde´s Thriteen. Who knows.

A lot is happening on the House MD front, with rumours about Wilson leaving House, as it is announced by the promos of the next House episode “This is no ordinary episode of House.” and we are not yet giving too big a spoiler.
Candice Bergen will be back to reprise her role as Cuddy´s mom, but why will she be there? Well, as it´s teased by TVLine, and the big reason why is because of her daughter´s health.
Is Cuddy dying on House? Is Lisa Edelstein leaving?
As I told you when discussing Wilson, Hugh Laurie is the only one inked beyond this season, but showrunners are confident that Robert Sean Leonard, Lisa Edelstein, and the rest of the cast will be back for next season of House.
But that does not say anything on wether Cuddy will die on House or not. Well, I can say this is a big tease from the Ausiello gang, and Cuddy is not dying. But you will surely be dying to watch the episode of House, since Hugh Laurie will be singing, and there will be a lot of fantasy sequences.

How I WISH she would die. God I’d kill her myself stupid shit little character. Poorly poorly acted as Lisa edelstein is one of the WORST actresses I’ve ever seen truly truly awful Nd the character is the worst written I’ve ever seen. I’d be even more thrilled than when Amber died. God how I wish cuddy would die. Good and slow and seriously painful agonising and has house realise she’s useless that he doesn’t love her never did and that bending her over any decent surface is all she was ever good for stupid desperate idiot that she is and she die alone. That’s. Nice happy thought. Oh only better if her own immense medical incompetence is what killed her. That’d be sweet

Well if she wants to leave then so be it and it is going to be really hard not hearing her speak or saying her smart remarks and getting on Houses back and driving him crazy is something that is going to be well missed and what is going to happen to her daughter and who is going to take over..But adlease she is leaving the show..When the show is smoking hot and wonderful and outstanding and she did a amazing job and she did such a good job that…She is alway going to be looked at playing that role and making it her own? No one can ever take the place of this young and wonderful And Beautiful woman.
