But how could we wait for an extra year to see more of the exciting Starz show, and to get dragged to the Arenas once again?

Well, the network was smart enough as to put to the works a prequel for Spartacus Blood and Sand called Spartacus Gods of the Arena, that premiered on January 21st. And now Starz premieres the all new episode, number five, called Reckoning, on Friday February 18 10PM

The mantle of champion of the House of Batiatus is up for grabs as Batiatus’ father, Titus (Jeffrey Thomas) announces a tournament to determine the worth of the men that make up his stable of gladiators. Batiatus (John Hannah) is at a turning point, forced to make a decision that threatens no good outcome, either path before him guaranteeing that a family bond will be destroyed. Crixus (Manu Bennett) stands dedicated to proving himself in the upcoming tournament but is drawn into the intrigue of the power play within the house.
