Chad decides to make a movie about his life – Chad Dylan Cooper: The Chad Dylan Cooper Story. He holds auditions for actors to play the cast of So Random! but decides to cast Tawni, Nico, and Grady as themselves. Sonny on the other hand still has to audition for the role of herself and ultimately Chad casts Selena Gomez for the part. Selena follows Sonny around for the day to get more into character and makes a keen observation about Sonny and Chad : they like each other. This causes a disputes between Sonny and Selena as well as Chad and Selena. Elsewhere, a pair of Nico and Grady look-alikes (who look suspiciously like the real ones only the fake-Nico speaks spanish and the fake-Grady acts ‘gangsta.’) hit on Tawni who believes them to be the real ones. She confronts the real Nico and Grady in the prop-house and they explain. The three then devise a plan to get revenge on the impersonators. (Allisyn Ashley Arm is credited but does not appear in the episode.)
