How You Doin’ Will & Kate?’ It’s the big day and talk show host Wendy Williams has Royal Wedding fever. ‘The Wendy Williams Show’ (nationally syndicated, check your local listings at wendyshow.com) will air LIVE on Friday, April 29 and will celebrate the big day in a big way by giving viewers her unique take on the royal nuptials, including all the juicy details in a full hour of sizzling “Hot Topics” which will include royal expert Jessica Callan and some fun surprises for her audience.  In addition, the most recent couple to be voted off of ‘Dancing With The Stars,’ Chris Jericho and Cheryl Burke,  stop by to dish on the hit ABC show.

Yesterday, Wendy Williams arrived in  ‘royal elegance’ to her studio in NYC, complete with horse-drawn carriage and two trumpeters, for a pre-taped entrance that will air as part of her ‘Royal Wedding’ episode Friday.

All you need to know about the Royal Wedding of William and Kate

Royal Wedding movie William & Kate premieres April 18 on Lifetime

lifetime-movie-william-kateLifetime Television’s Original Movie William & Kate, based on the romance between Prince William (Nico Evers-Swindell, NCIS: Los Angeles, Law & Order) and Kate Middleton (Camilla Luddington, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, The Defenders), will make its world premiere on Monday, April 18, at 9:00 pm ET/PT.

Immediately following William & Kate at 11:00 pm ET/PT, Lifetime will debut the first of six one-hour episodes of the documentary series Royal Wedding of a Lifetime.  The program will examine the history of William and Kate’s romance and run-up to their wedding, comparisons of Kate to Princess Diana, the wedding gown and fashion surrounding the nuptials, cuisine for the high-profile event, a preview of the wedding day and a glimpse into their future together.  After launch, Royal Wedding of a Lifetime will air from 8:00 to 11:00 PM ET/PT on Thursday, April 21, and Friday, April 22.

What is William & Kate About? Plot

William & Kate tells the story of how the friendship between Prince William, second in line to the throne of the British monarchy, and future princess Kate Middleton, the stunning daughter of upper middle-class commoners, blossomed into a romantic love affair, charming the world with their recent engagement and eagerly awaited royal wedding.  The film chronicles the history of William and Kate — from the moment they met at Scotland’s prestigious University of St. Andrews, through the ups and downs of their nine-year courtship complicated by social and Royal Family pressures, and intense global media attention surrounding their storybook nuptials.  William & Kate also stars Ben Cross (Star Trek, Chariots of Fire) as Prince Charles, Serena Scott-Thomas (The World Is Not Enough) as Carole Middleton, Richard Reid (Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone) as Ian and Victoria Tennant (L.A. Story) as Celia.

William & Kate will be produced by The Konigsberg Company, with Frank Konigsberg (Lifetime’s Sex & Lies in Sin City, Lifetime Movie Network’s Lies in Plain Sight) serving as executive producer.  Mark Rosman (Greek, Ghost Whisperer) will direct the screenplay by Nancey Silvers (Lifetime’s Sundays at Tiffany’s and Girl, Positive).

Royal Wedding of a Lifetime is being produced by Renegade Pictures (UK) LTD and executive produced by Alan Hayling (The Queen in 3D, Children of Beslan), Jon Rowlands (Who Was Jesus?, Don’t Tell the Bride) and Sue Davidson (The Apprentice, How to Live with Women), and JoAnn Alfano, Gena McCarthy and Jim Rapsas of Lifetime Television.

Casting Call: Open Audition for Royal Wedding Show

Can you name William and Kate’s favorite London nightclub?
Do you run a blog that reports every detail of the royal wedding planning?
Did you grow up with a Princess Diana-obsessed mother?
Do you dream of marrying into the royal family?

A major American cable network is currently seeking  the country’s most obsessed royal wedding fans.  We’re looking for outrageous, outgoing characters who can’t get enough Wills and Kate!  Candidates must be American and willing to travel. You can be in for the trip of a lifetime.

The show is still in development so posting further details is difficult, but this is for a major US production company and cable network.
