Voices_of_Serial_Killers-berry-dee-book-reviewPerhaps the most personal book from Christopher Berry-Dee I´ve read; The Voices of Serial Killers: The World´s Most Maniacal Murderers in their own words” is a heartfelt book in which the author actually talks with these murderers and try to understand them from their own perspectives and what they are saying. Why do I say it feels the most personal book from him? Because you can read his position on every subject and calls BS every time he feels like the murderer is telling a lie.

I´ve been reading several true crime books, and specially enjoyed those of Berry-Dee. Cannibal Serial Killers and Online Killers. Eight chapters each and every one of them going as deep as possible in the minds of these criminals and how they deny or justify their wrong-doings. It gives a look on untampered tantrums of the serial killers, when they write letters or when they give interviews and compares how they acted while out and about; and how they transformed when faced with charges.

A must for anyone interested in True Crime or psychology. But make sure you don´t read the book at night before you go to sleep; the subconcious plays you strange dreams… you´ve been warned.
