the-beast-cancelledThe Beast is cancelled. It has been a great show, but its stamina got to an end. This one is officially cancelled, there´s not much hope for the show… we saw a lot of other Cancelled Shows and Series

The Beast is an A&E television series starring Patrick Swayze and Travis Fimmel. It debuted on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at 10 PM EST. On June 15, 2009, Entertainment Tonight announced the show has been canceled.

The main reason is the uncertainty of Swayze´s fight with pancreatic cancer, on top of not so great ratings.

What is The Beast About? – Plot

The series centers on an unorthodox but effective FBI veteran, Charles Barker (Patrick Swayze), who takes on a rookie partner, Ellis Dove (Travis Fimmel). Barker trains Dove in a hard-edged, psychologically driven approach towards undercover work, where a moment’s hesitation can lead to death. Barker applies controversial techniques in his attempts to bring criminals to justice, which often border on illegal and unsettle his inexperienced partner.
Over the course of the first season, Barker is investigated by fellow FBI agents for alleged misconduct. Dove’s loyalty to his partner is challenged when internal affairs agent Ray Beaumont (Larry Gilliard) approaches him to gain information. Shortly thereafter, Dove learns of darker secrets in Barker’s past.
The show is set and shot on location in Chicago, Illinois.

So… are you upset that The Beast is cancelled?
