Mr Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story
Premieres Saturday, May 4 (9pm ET/PT, 8C) on Hallmark Channel, starring Michael Shanks and Kathleen Robertson Regarded as one of the greatest hockey players of all time, Gordie Howe (Shanks) was finished playing hockey after his retirement from the National Hockey League. When he is offered a contract – brokered by his wife Colleen – to play alongside his sons in the newly formed World Hockey Association (WHA), the 45-year-old legend prepares for a surprising comeback. Together with sons Mark (Andrew Herr) and Marty (Dylan Playfair) and the support of his wife Colleen (Robertson), Gordie relocates his family and returns to the rink to play professional hockey with the Houston Aeros. Though many skeptics label this as “the biggest publicity stunt in hockey history,” Gordie proves his critics wrong and attempts to accomplish the unthinkable of playing professional hockey and winning a championship with his sons. For one of the most beloved and iconic professional hockey stars of his era, this is Gordie Howe’s second chance to once again become “Mr. Hockey.”

A young Amish woman makes her first naïve journey to the outside world and ventures to New York City in a search for her birth mother, a wealthy estate owner who is dying of cancer. When she finally finds her, she isn’t expecting the woman’s greedy husband to be scheming to steal her entire estate, and is soon caught up in a tangled web of deception as she desperately tries to get closer to the mother she never knew.

Six highly skilled teenagers are handpicked to be part of a summer space camp competition at the U.S. Space & Rocket Center in Huntsville, Alabama. As the competition heats up, the kids have no idea that their ultimate challenge will be to solve a life or death crisis aboard the International Space Station as the world anxiously watches.
After growing up at Smith Mountain Lake in rural Virginia, Sara became estranged from th family and moved to Los Angeles to study law. Her sister Lily, an artist, stayed behind to teach middle school. Lily still lives with her parents, Ray and Vivian, until Ray dies in an accident. When Sara returns to help with the arrangements, the sister and their mother cross paths with an eclectic group of local oddballs. The week they spend together at the lake is filled with adventure, tears, and laughter as they mourn their losses and look toward the future.
