Dan and Laura Dotson, the husband-and-wife celebrity auctioneers who star on A&E’s hit TV show Storage Wars, are moving into new territory. Together with their longtime friends and fellow collectibles experts from Justuff the Yard Sale Store of Redlands, Calif., the Dotsons are launching a new one-day mega-show – The Yard Sale Expo & Flea Market at Fairplex Pomona.
The event is family oriented and is going to mix yard sales with antique, vintage and commercial items selling. The Yard Sale Expo & Flea Market will debut on Saturday, June 29 on 50 dedicated acres of the Fairplex in eastern Los Angeles County. Show hours are 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.

A&E renewed Storage Wars for a third season to premiere next summer. The flagship original show has been developed to spinoffs, and has been a hit also internationally, therefore making the decision to renew Storage Wars a no brainer, as well as the other shows on the same concept Storage Wars: Texas and Shipping Wars. Ok, so now I am starting a new endeavor: Creating maps for many shows that are packed with different locations, specially real locations that exist in the real world.
I decided to start this with an A&E hit, by creating a map for Storage Wars episodes. What is in this map? The complete list of cities visited by Storage Wars, episode by episode, and some other locations of interest for the show. Such as where is Dan and Laura Dotson Auction house “American Auctioneers”, where is Dave Hester´s store, where is Darrell Sheets store and where is Jarrod and Brandi Now and Then Thrift store?
The map is embedded here, and you can see the blue markers are Storage Locations featured in different episodes, while green markers are for locations of interest to the show.
Here´s the full list of references so you can search the one you are most interested in:

While 2011 brought us history-making news from around the world, it also brought us some truly spectacular television shows! From quirky relationship-based comedies to supernatural stories featuring some gorgeous vampires, 2011 had some wonderfully stand-out offerings, and you’ll find that Directv is a good way to get the shows you want.
How I Met Your Mother walks a fine line between over-the-top drama and side-splitting hilarity, and this show, now going on 5 years, seems no closer to letting us in on the answer posed in the title. The relationships are growing and changing, and its still anyone’s game.
For the James Bond fan in all of us, there was the animated show Archer, which takes on Cold War espionage and the rules of Mad Men with hilarious results. With co-workers that range from the mildly-deranged to the completely insane, Archer deals with issues as varied as sleeper agents and breast cancer. Whether you’re there for the snarky one-liners, the ridiculous antics of the semi-sociopathic main character, or the rare serious moment, Archer had plenty to offer.
In the fictional town of Bon Temps, humans and vampires live side by side in an uneasy peace. The television series True Blood is based on The Southern Vampire Mysteries, by Charlene Harris. After ending its fourth season on a series of cliffhangers, HBO has announced that the show will continue in 2012.
On the dramatic of end things, 2011 saw the emergence of Homeland as a perfectly-acted, perfectly-timed thriller. This show deals with anti-terrorism issues, and in a stunning departure from her previous roles, Clare Danes plays an on-edge CIA agent who is faced with impossible choices.
Game of Thrones, another offering from HBO, introduced a dark edge to the fantasy genre and got everyone interested in the George R.R. Martin series. Whether you are a fan of the books, or you only came to see the blood hit the screen, Game of Thrones offers the watching audience plenty of high drama and fascinating choices. While it took audiences a while to warm to this show, it has a lot to offer if you hang in there.
Storage Wars, a show about investigating the contents of abandoned storage units, has ended its second season and shows no signs of slowing down. This show gives the viewer a voyeuristic thrill and the fun of high-stakes bargaining. There are plenty of interesting things to see and each storage unit opened seems to have its own story.
We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011. And the year came out in its first week already giving way to a couple renewals. A&E renews Storage Wars for a second season. In its Dec.1 hourlong debut, Storage Wars drew 2 million viewers, A&E’s best premiere numbers for an unscripted series last year. The series has been growing since, averaging 2.3 million viewers to date. Thus making it a non brainer decision to renew Storage Wars early.
The second season renewal order for Storage Wars by A&E consists on 20 episodes. Production is starting already, and the show will air probably in late spring or summer 2011.
What is Storage Wars About? Plot
Storage Wars is a reality television series on the A&E Network premiering in 2010. When rent is not paid on a storage locker for three months in California, the contents are sold off by an auctioneer. The show follows professional buyers Dan and Laura Dotson who purchase the contents based only on what they can see when the door is opened and their efforts to turn a profit on the merchandise.
