Yesterday, the entertainment industry’s finest gathered at the 72nd Annual Peabody Awards at the Waldorf=Astoria in NYC, honoring 39 winners for excellence in electronic media for 2012.
There to accept the award for HBO’s hit series ‘Girls’ was executive producer, Judd Apatow who during his speech, couldn’t contain his inner geek saying ‘It is an honor to be among you, I just peed next to Dr. Who and I’m very excited right now.’
Other attendees included Amy Poehler, who was there in support of Lorne Michaels, who received a rare individual Peabody Award; Bryant Gumbel, Louis C.K., Robin Roberts, Dl Hughley, Matt Smith and Jenna Coleman.
