BET TAKES HOLLYWOOD – Premieres Monday, February 24th at 11:00 P.M.* ET/PT on BET.
Directly following BET HONORS, host and veteran celebrity journalist Shaun Robinson of Access Hollywood will sit down with this year’s top African American nominees along with past Oscar winners to candidly discuss their amazing race to the Academy Awards. Plus, she’ll take a look back at the Oscar’s best-dressed stars and look into the future to predict which stars will impress the Academy next year in the network’s third annual Oscar special BET TAKES HOLLYWOOD. #BETHollywood
BEING – Saturday, February 15th at 9:00 P.M.* ET/PT on Centric.
BEING is a one-hour documentary series that highlights the careers of seminal actors, musicians, and television icons. Each week the show chronicles the life, career success, struggle, and triumph of one subject, throughout their journey. These stories are told in all their glamour, glitz, guts, and glory, with concentrated focus on how they persevered through it all.

The network’s first one-hour scripted drama focuses on the life of successful cable news anchor, Mary Jane Paul (played by Gabrielle Union). Mary Jane Paul happens to be part of a growing American statistic – the single, black female. Each week viewers will journey with this successful television news anchor as she manages her life as a mature single woman. Although she does not have a family to call her own, she does have parents, brothers, nieces and close friends to keep her well-balanced. Mary Jane may report on everyone else’s lives every night on the evening news, but now we will pull the curtain back and see how it feels “Being Mary Jane.” #BeingMaryJane
LIFT EVERY VOICE – New episodes air Sundays at 10:00 A.M.* ET/PT on BET.
LIFT EVERY VOICE is back with a brand new host – Fonzworth Bentley takes the reigns of the half-hour, Sunday morning program featuring even more insightful testimonies from some of mainstream and gospel music’s biggest an stars. The new season premieres with a special hour-long episode featuring Arsenio Hall.
