This one was the one I was expecting to see, being Argentinian and all, as there was one of the nominees from back home. But there are always such good films in this category that it´s usually the most difficult of the big ones to predict.
The nominees were: Ida from Poland, directed by Pawel Pawlikowski; Leviathan from Russia, directed by Andrey Zvyagintsev; Tangerines from Estonia, directed by Zaza Urushadze; Timbuktu from Mauritania, directed by Abderrahmane Sissako; and Wild Tales (Relatos Salvajes) from Argentina, directed by Damian Szifron.
For this award, the presenters were Nicole Kidman and Chiwetel Ejiofor, and my country did not win.
And the Oscar goes to Ida
