At today’s annual gathering of television critics in Los Angeles, Hallmark Channel announced the September 26th debut of season two of “Martha Bakes,” a Hallmark Channel Original Series and part of the Hallmark Channel Home block. Based on a lifetime of research, and baking techniques and recipes perfected by Martha Stewart, these new installments will continue to give home bakers everything they need to create the finest desserts and baked goods in their own kitchens. The 13-episode series airs Mondays at 11:30 a.m. ET/PT, 10:30 a.m. C.
The half-hour series, the first to feature Martha teaching one specific culinary discipline, was developed following years of experimenting, writing and refining recipes. Martha herself edits the best of the best for this informative program dedicated to the coursework for Baking 101. What distinguishes the series from other baking-related shows is that each installment, covering themes such as cookies or coffee cake, begins with a recipe’s basic foundation and then demonstrates how the addition of certain ingredients or a new technique can create not just one, but multiple recipes. This season, Martha bakes basic yeast breads, layer cakes, pizza and focaccia, as well as the more complicated croissant. The thoughtfully edited collection of Martha’s personal favorites, savories and sweets, demystifies the world of baking, making it accessible and easy for home bakers to achieve success no matter what their level.
Commenting on the season two debut, Martha Stewart said: “This has always been a passion project for me and to be able to continue offering this incredible curriculum to our viewers is very satisfying. This second season tutorial is quite expansive and features recipes that are near and dear to my heart.”
“Martha Bakes” is produced by Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia and executive produced by Martha Stewart. Laurie Hepburn and Lisa Wagner are also executive producers.

She is show case for other cooks and bakers and it is classic to make a show with an older person..Because it make a history of some kind and that is good on many levels but on the other hand greed is nasty and being a pig at the same time but some people should just hang it up after a while and stop making money to line there pockets and give the money to help the children of the future and there are so many people out there going without and…100 people can live off Marths income for the rest of there lives and never have to work again and that is a shame.
