Thanksgiving is not only about feasting yourself and your family to a big turkey and pumpkin pie; and it´s not only a time to say the things we are thankful for. It´s also the time for good television! There are a lot of Marathons and Specials. (I will only put the ones I´d watch or TiVo).

Thursday November 24 Thanksgiving Marathons and Specials

  • Martha Stewart Show Thanksgiving: Last minute recipes. Watch it on Hallmark at 10AM (9C).
  • Buffy The Vampire Slayer Marathon: The Episodes of Season Seven. 6 Am through 4PM on Chiller.
  • Cake Boss Marathon: I have yet to start watching Cake Boss, but my GF is a fan. So there. 6 AM through 8:30 PM on TLC.
  • Supernanny Marathon: 21 hours of Jo Frost non-stop! 6AM through 3AM the next day on Style.
  • IRT Deadliest Roads Marathon: I am planning a trip of my own to the Death Road for next year, the Ice Road Truckers are doing that this season, after last season on the Himalaya. 8AM through 8 PM on History.
  • James Bond Films Marathon: From 8 AM through 5:30 the next day on Syfy, eight of Bond´s movies: Thunderball, Diamonds Are Forever, Goldfinger, Casino Royale, Quantum of Solace, Die Another Day, License to Kill and The Spy Who Loved Me.
  • My Wife and Kids Marathon: Starting at 8 AM all through 5 PM on BET a marathon on one of the sitcoms I most miss.
  • Macy´s Thanksgiving Day Parade: NBC has a 9AM to 12 PM special coverage that will feature the likes of Rodney Atkins, Neil Diamond, Cee Lo Green, Avril Lavigne and more. You can also skip back and forth to CBS that has its own coverage of the parade.
  • NCIS Marathon on USA: Of course, a NCIS holiday marathon on USA. From 10 AM through 8 PM.
  • Ice Age, A Mammoth Christmas: On Fox 8PM. I stated ten reasons to watch it.
  • Swampsgiving: At 9PM on History, you get to know how the Swamp People celebrates Thanksgiving.
  • A Very Gaga Thanksgiving Special: Airing on ABC 9:30PM. It´s Lady Gaga and it´s Thanksgiving. You can picture the rest.
