cancel-christmas-hallmark-november-13How many things on Hallmark am I posting? A lot, I know. But it´s because ´tis the season. Christmas and Holidays are coming, and Hallmark has a full roster of family oriented movies to welcome these dates.

This time, a movie starring Judd Nelson called Cancel Christmas.

Golden Globe nominee Judd Nelson (“Billionaire Boys Club”) stars in “Cancel Christmas” a Hallmark Channel Original Movie World Premiere Sunday, November 13 (8p.m. ET/PT, 7C).  Starring alongside Nelson are Justin Landry (“Periods of Rain”), Connor Price (“Dead Zone”) and newcomer Sante Scaletta.  Hallmark Channel’s COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS features more true holiday-themed programming than any other network.  Hallmark Channel is proud to be the official TV partner with Marine Toys for Tots working with the foundation to fulfill their mission that every child deserves a toy during the holidays.
Imagine Santa’s (Nelson) surprise when the Christmas Board of Directors issues an ultimatum to holiday’s top Elf: In 30 days or less, make Christmas less commercial and material, or lose it forever.  The Board is so sure the turnaround is hopeless that they give Santa the task of changing the hearts of privileged kids so they, in turn, will reach out to help a less fortunate boy.  As he views the mission before him, Santa sees the following themes: private school, privilege, rich kids, mean kids, a science fair, a Golden Retriever, and a friendless boy in a  wheelchair who could benefit greatly from the new ‘MoBius’ robotic chair.  Daunting?  No more so than making reindeer fly.  If ever there was a force for joy, goodness and sharing, it is the mythical man in red.  After all, it’s Christmas – believe with all your heart!
“Cancel Christmas” is a Chesler/ Perlmutter Production.  Executive Producers are Lewis Chesler, David Perlmutter, Robert Vaughn and John Bradshaw.  Producer is Markie Posival.  The movie is directed by John Bradshaw from a script by David Alexander.
* Hallmark Channel’s COUNTDOWN TO CHRISTMAS created a new television tradition for 2011: the Christmas TV ratings system.  The Christmas ratings include: S for Santa, T for Tree-Trimming, J for Joy, F for Family Meal, G for Family Gathering, P for Presents and C for Caring.  Have a very Hallmark Christmas!
