delocated-cancelled-renewed-adult-swimWe are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of 2011.

Mockumentaries are the hot thing on TV right now, right? Well, now another mockumentary has got a renewal order. In this case Adult Swim renewed Delocated for a 10 episode third season.

Delocated started as a 15 minute an episode type of show, but then grew to half an hour on second season. Now the renewal order for Delocated is for thirty minutes episodes also.

What is Delocated about? Plot

Delocated is an American television series which premiered February 12, 2009 on Adult Swim. The original pilot for the show was aired on April 1, 2008.
Jon Glaser plays a man in the Witness Protection Program who moves his family to New York City so they can star in a reality TV show, forced to wear balaclavas at all times. Paul Rudd guest-stars in the pilot as himself. Eugene Mirman co-stars as a Russian hitman/stand-up comic hired to kill “Jon.”
This series is produced by Wonder Showzen and Xavier: Renegade Angel creators PFFR. It leans decidedly more towards deadpan humor and does not use the black humor of their other shows. It is similar in format to The Office, in that it mocks a reality show setup, as if it were a serious, non-fiction reality show and not a fictional comedy.
Delocated concluded its first season on March 29, 2009, and was renewed for a second season, which began on August 22, 2010. The second season episodes are extended from a 15 minute runtime to a 30 minute runtime.
Although a solid date has yet to be confirmed, Glaser has announced that the series would be returning for a third season
