UPDATE: Heroes is likely getting cancelled. The same Greg Grunberg who was so optimistic a while ago twitted about Heroes getting cancelled. Albeit he did it in a semi cryptic way:

We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
So… if the fat lady is about to sing… that probably means Heroes gets cancelled.
But, a Heroes movie can be in the making.
And this one is not an official announcement, but a statement from Greg Grunberg, one of Heroes Stars.
According to Michael Ausiello, Greg Grunberg told him on the People´s Choice Awards that Heroes is renewed for a fifth season,
Greg Grunberg told Ausiello: “We wrapped yesterday and the [final episode] is nowhere near a series finale, It is cliffhanger-y and exciting, but it is nowhere near an end to a series that people are so invested in. It does not tie everything up in a neat bow… I don’t have any doubt that the show will be back.”
So… it doesn´t matter if ratings aren´t the best… DVD sales, and international audiences are steadily good, so Heroes is renewed.
But, according to Vulture, NBC is cancelling Heroes instead of giving it a new fifth season run. However, the show could get a two or four hour movie wrap up to give the show a closure, in some sort of a Heroes fifth season renewal in a different format.
Apparently, NBC has five nice bets for this season, one of them J.J. Abrams new show, hence making Heroes as a backup plan a waste of money… 5 million hardcore US based fans, and International fans may be the saviors and make NBC gather the money for a two or four hour movie that can close the story and turn into the swan song for Heroes.

While Heroes may have been cancelled the full box set has had a DVD release so both old fans and new can relive all the series.

He didn’t say Heroes was renewed, he just said he had no doubts.
He’s a positive and hopeful person.
While I dearly hope Heroes will be renewed for another season (and more after that, if we’re lucky), that isn’t a statement of fact but rather one man’s opinion.
He´s an insider, so he has some kind of information; and also, that´s why it´s not stated as an official done thing, rather a close thing
These scripts are written months ago. The writers, executive producers, etc have no idea what that status of the show is. Only the suits determine if it will be the last season (and they probably don’t know at this point).
I guarantee there has been shows cancelled with a “cliff hanger” finale.

Sweet!! i hope Greg is right i read a recent interview with him as well and hopefully he has Tim Kring Ear. Heroes would get a resergence if they put an end game in place or actully verified they have as alot of the “future” views havent been ruled out with the exception of the Peter the Exploding man.
Damn. I was really hoping this show would just die. It hasn’t been worth watching since the end of season 1. Every episode shows a glimmer of becoming good, then takes a turn for the worse. And I know ret-cons are standard practice in comics, but at least they wait a few years between them instead of having them every few episodes. Please NBC, cancel this awful show.
I can say without a doubt HEROES is one of the best shows to come out in the years since,
mutant x, space above and beyond, and sliders.
I was more than upset that they didnt complete the stories on these.
I think its bad form on the part of the powers that be to not finish what they started as the writers of stargate did.
As to the people who don’t like HEROES and the like THAT’S WHAT THE CHANNEL SELECTOR ON THE TV IS FOR IF YOU DONT LIKE IT DON’T WATCH IT AND COMPLAIN.
i hate reality shows so i change the channel its one of the very few things we control totally these days.
Maybe the slow plotlines on HEROES are leading up to something big as it does in doctor who.

Heroes sucks. Was a big fan before, the show blows, BIG TIME!! Got turned on to Lost, much better show!!
The forth season was awful. bad story and incredible annoying casting (the samuel guy). even if they’ll renew it, i doubt i’ll keep on watching it. frankly there are better ways to waste my time, then watch another terrible season like the 4th one.
season four was the best so far since the first. samuel was an awesome villian. was good to have someone other than sylar. samuel had great charisma and being a new character there was once again a mystery to the series. i was gripped right from the beginning and couldnt wait for the next episode. really hope they renew for a fifth season.

Heroes has been average at best this season… It will never getting the ratings as they were before the strike… The writing is what they lost from season 1… Season 2 was their second to worst season, then they had season 3… which should have been stabbed in the eye ball. Season 4, atleast they have a better story line, but like what tim said up above… Mohinder has cast in another show… Nikki is or was a new character… is this because Micah left the show? isaac is mia too… Now that I think about it, it never got its appeal after the strike… everything since has been average at best…

While I was completed underwhelmed by this past seasons finale, I will watch if the show returns (I have nothing better to waste my life doing on a Monday night). My complaints of the series echo many others; nothing ever happens from episode to episode, contstant return to status quo, no action, etc. The recent season finale was a perfect example of what has gone wrong with this series. It was all “build-up” and no pay-off. It made me wonder what the purpose of watch the entire season was. Face facts, the best part of the entire finale was the preview for next season. Hence, I will be watching next season.

I spoke to Greg last week, He said the show is definitely being renewed but the amount of episodes hasn’t been determined yet. The future beyond this season is uncertain he said. I am a huge Heroes fan and don’t want it to end anytime soon…..ugh then i’d be stuck with reality shows and crime/legal/medical dramas…..noooooooo!!!!!
Whoever wrote this article really ought to find some concrete info before getting everyones hopes up. It’s ludicrous that you’re amping these people up on nothing other than Greg’s own thoughts on the future of the show. Heroes has NOT been renewed as of now, we will more than likely know in the next month or two as NBC doesn’t even do their upfronts until May (showing next season’s lineup to advertisers). News of a cancellation should come a little before then if that’s what’s decided. Fingers crossed like the rest of you, but take this person’s word with a grain of salt: Heroes has NOT been renewed yet.

Do they consider the people who dvr this stuff? or netflix or ondemand? or is this just who is tuned in at the time, even then do the ratings count multiple tvs etc. I just dont understand how all the good shows can go away and the bad ones stay. Apparently you didn’t and that’s why what little you did see just LOOKED like the same thing. For one thing this show finally killed off a main character. Nathan is dead, Sylar is a good guy now (interesting twist)and to top it off Clair bear just jumped off a Farris wheel and announced to the whole world by her action that there are “specials” out there. I for one want to see what the hell happens….If your not the people who watched all the shows all the way through then your opinions don’t count. You want to know what is really going on in the Heroes world then start watching the episodes and trust me, you wont stop until you to are waiting to see the “Brave New World”.

Please Resurrect Elle Bishop, she was a character that had such great potential as a love interest, and sociopathic character who seeks redemption (not unlike Sylar) What a waste to kill her.
Seriously WTF. How does this pile of crap not get canceled? NBC is only good for comedy shows (hell yea the Office) but I gave up trying to watch the shit these people came up with. The writers have no clue what they are going to do. A show that manages to keep the same god damn character for so long when he is useless (Sylar) demonstrates pure lack of creativity in these people. If you guys out there like this pile of crap, try Lost, a scifi show that uses REAL character development and a planned story to pull of an epic tale (can you really describe Heroes as epic? NO). I mean how long do i have to sit through the crap with Claire and her dad before something happens? And why the hell are the effects that made season 1 so spectacular gone. I was amazed at how terrible the season 3 finale truly was because of this (oh and the once again nonsensical character Nathan). And somehow, they manage to keep that actor on the show for another half season before killing him pitifully. And whatever happened to the SCIFI aspect of this show? I mean these are mutations not magic (this pisses me off a lot). I could go on forever, but I will end by suggesting all of you who actually think this is a good show to try Lost. I guarentee that once you see REAL GOOD television, you will ditch this pile of crap (because honestly, that is the only reason you could possibly like this show, i.e. you have never seen a good show). This show needs to be canceled soon. Season 1 was amazing. By season 4, Claire is a lesbian, Nathan is dead, Peter has watered down powers, and Sylar is discovering his “softer” side. Really cool show now! Right. The producers need to bring back the formula from season 1- season 1 was one of the best single seasons of any tv show ever. Please make Heroes cool again or cancel it.
I love the premise, and I really like the show. I hope they continue it, and if they do, I would really like to see some more actual development of individualities of the characters. The writers seem to have gotten into a rut with formulas, and few of the characters really *grow* and change with their experiences. You have a few that have been developed, but others are still making the same old mistakes they made in the first season. I’d really like it if the writers put a little more thought into what they’re writing. This show could easily be amazing; right now it’s kind of mediocre.

Pretty sure this is the beginning of the end for NBC. Heroes was a cash-cow and among the most watched TV shows ever (if you include digital distribution in that, which I will because it helps my point) but NBC were too stupid to take advantage of other mediums besides TV and DVDs. Instead of embracing digital technology and the internet, they cut the show’s budget and some of the best writing minds left the project for greener pastures, which helped the show deteriorate in the final couple of seasons. The show really needed to go to a cable network anyway, since it is much too violent to be on network television, and it could have had some serious life-injection if its script dealt with the darker elements of human nature. There’s a similar British series out at the moment (only an adult series) called Misfits that the Heroes writers could have taken some inspiration from had they gotten a fifth season. That show was made for nothing and in six episodes eeked out characters with far more depth than any of those on Heroes. I guess when your cast list balloons into more than a dozen, all vying for screen-time, that’s what you get.
I’ll watch whatever movie or season finale they make, but hear this NBC, you guys are starting to fail with television shows. Come on guys, its like giving good service, how do you guys expect to keep your loyal viewers at long term, reputation builds up. So please get with the program, give us some closure at least. I’m seriously gona start to watch which television shows im going to watch and from who its produced.
The writer’s strike is what screwed this show. After the writers strike they must have gotten new writers because the show took a totally new direction and it got all screwed up.
Just look at Peter, he use to be a badass and then they messed up his power. I think the writers they got had never even seen the show.
I’m pissed because I waited for this show to finally get back on track and I was sooo excited after last season because it was finally getting there and then they do this. I wish they would at least release the rest of the story line or something so we can know what happen.

Heroes did lose viewership thanks to season 3 which in fact sucked, but season 4 was awesome and a lot of viewership was regained thanks to this season, NBC should give heroes another chance

Well let me start by saying that I was introduced to heroes this past december and I was gonna start by one episode a day but after the first one I had to go to the next right after I was watching it by the season. well I became addicted to it and I watched it from the time I woke up until I feel asleep every night. until I was at the last episode and I wanted more but I didnt know when it come on so I am waiting. Now that I love it I heard it was being cancelled. please dont cancel the show I really do enjoy watching it and my favorite three are Sylar,Peter and claire. I mean if I see them in something else I will screaming their name out loud. Man!!! NBC has no taste. Heroes is a superior show and my favorite show. I did watch some of Lost, but the characters (aside from Locke) never caught my interest like those in Heroes. I do agree that some of the 3rd season was weak, but the carnival plot and Samuel picked things back up and I am just as invested now as I was in the first season. When there are so many mindless and trite programs out there (how many reality shows and CSIs can one take?), it is really tragic when shows this creative are canceled due to Nielsen ratings (i.e. grandma does not watch Heroes). Why don’t they poll those of us who watch it on the Internet? Get with the times.
P.S. For all those complaining about Season 2 and 3 and 4, a
question – why if season 2 was so “awful” did you continue to
watch 3, and when that was “terrible”, watch season 4? I guess

THem asses better not fuck us. I’ve watched every single one. They better wrap it wrap it up right, I hear Lost’s ending wasn’t all that great- dont know for sure but never watched it or the show. But If they fuck us I will be extremely let down. But as far as the series goes I felt it was gettin pretty weak, last 2-3 season’s actully. But i watched only because I invested the time, but it was good at first. People talked shit if they didn’t watch it, until they watched it. But a good 2 hour movie, directed by Abrams or somebody bad ass, that wraps it up B, with everyone dying would be alright otherwise. NBC can go screw, their company is being run like Shyte.
Heroes has a HUGE fanbase like LOST… cancelling a show out of the blue basing it of ‘ratings’ has become rather mundane, considering that even with the drop of viewers, it is still being viewed by millions around the world…

I say we develop a website(although im sure there is one somewhere) to keep Heroes going. This has been one of the best shows i have watched, besides Lost. I cannot beleive they cancelled Heroes. Now what to watch on TV, reality shows..BLAHHHHHHHHH, those shows suck!!

They can not cancel Heroes! I will seriously cry. I watched the first season all the way through but lost touch after that and recently got back in touch to watch all of season four. This show is definitely worth keeping it on the air. Lots of my Oberlin shows have gotten cancelled in the past couple years and I really want at least one of them to keep going! Please keep this show on the air!

Man, they could have at least wrapped the story up – some shows just get bumped I guess, i remember Oddessy 5 – that was a wicked show but got killed as well back in the day.
I blame the writers strike it took the wind out of the sails and by the time it came back the script was never as powerful, although I stil enjoyed watching it – pointless signing a petition its just a case of get used to it then….

The show was F’n AMAZING! the fan base is-I’m sure- ridculously huge. Maybe the Televsion ratings were not so high, but I’ve researched the sales for the DVD’s and they have great deal of profit coming in that can be invested in continuing Heroes through DVD purchases. I love Heroes but it was getting a little too chaotic for me. I’m not really suprised though at its cancellation. However I would like a closer. Perhaps it may not be totally gone however. Didn’t that soap opera Passions move to DirectV at one point after NBC cancelled it? Maybe Heroes could be moved to Syfy. It’s a shame though.

Heroes is the best show ever if they cancel it they would be making a big mistake, i discovered heroes a few months ago and when i discovered it i watch all five season in a row, i was in my room for a week straight watching nothing but heroes they cannot cancel this show.

I think it’s sad when something great is at hand and it just gets half ass treatment. This story is rich and inventive. I really thought is was groung breaking for a network to try something so ambitious only to end it like this. I really hope that it does not get cheapened by getting reorganzed into something that it didn’t start out being.

kinda lame, I admit the first season was the best. the second was interesting but a little boring, mostly a lead in for season three. three I thought was pretty good, both volumes. season four (volume five) was a little dull. I’ll tell ya where they messed up, give keanu reeves all his powers back. I never really understood why the artificial power wasn’t equal. “shouldn’t his body still remember how to do these things.” Find a way to kill off claire or atleast tell she can only cry every other episode or someting. matt parkman is the worst actor ever. regardless, I want to see the “brave new world.” NBC, do someting, sell the rights to the cw or someting I don’t care, something.
Heroes got boring. It’s the same old every season. Come up with something new already. They should’ve stopped at season 3.
The 1st season was the best. In the last couple seasons they went left and started to lose people. If they steered the show back towards it’s beginnings, I think they would win back some views. Great premise, characters, and effects. So much wasted potential.
I’m a little confused with all the talk about last season being the best. I thought it finished strong, but stumbled badly out of the gate and struggled early on in the season (hence the drop in ratings). It made the classic comic book mistake of latching on to story lines that dragged along and took too long to set up. Some of them were actually story lines that by the end of the season didn’t matter. I know Claire is supposed to be an angst ridden teen, but the story line with her father (“dad, you lied to me”) is getting harder and harder to take. Let Peter get his full power back, let Sylar become a reluctant hero, and let’s pick up the pace of the show. Early in the season, it felt like a daytime soap where Susan Lucci had developed super powers.

Lost….. whatched the first season then one or three shows untill I watched the last episode (which showed flashbacks from the sparadic eps that I managed to catch) could a final episode have sucked any more? nope.
Unfortunately here in Australia they keep showing all the good shows at stupid o’clock (yes even Lost) which makes it hard for people to watch them since we have to sit through reality shows followed by crap crime shows (no disrespect NCIS)

it’s about time this series finally got moved in to cold storage. it first started out as promising show with some interesting character and plot development, but boy was i wrong….first of all i kept wondering who will be the main protagonist of this series? at first i thought it would be hiro, but end up as a stereotype asian comic relief, then again i thought Peter would be next best candidate for the role but till season 4 he’s still the confused idiot who wields great power but 0 character. And then the so call main villain-Sylar who was already the super villain from the start should have just been killed off in one of the earlier season. Although season 4 started showing some new direction and character development as well as a new formidable manipulative villain – Samuel, Hiro being forced into harsh situations and Claire getting involve with the carnival are ingredients to a breath of fresh air into the series, but sadly it all just came in a little bit too late…just when the show started to change direction…it got ‘boxed’…but it would be good if they decided to make a movie to give the series a deserved closure…

i cant believe that they did or are going to cancel HEROES. why would they do that, i love this show. if they do cancle and make the movie, it has to be the 4 hour one. i just dont think that 2 hours is enough time to fill in the blanks and still have a kick ass closing to this amazing show. oh yah and it has to be a real movie, not one that had 4 minute commercials every 15 minutes, that would suck.
The First Season of Heroes was amazing, it had a balance of everything. Love, Drama, Fight Scenes, and very good storyline. The second was almost as good as the first; however, it was very short, which probably pissed off a lot of fans. The beginning of the third season was great, except for the part, where peter injects himself and can only retain one power at a time. He should have been able get retain his full empathetic powers. The second volume of season three was horrible. First of all, Nathan Petrelli was one of the main characters killing him off was foolish. Instead, they could have used Claire’s blood to revive. The second volume went away fro the original storyline. Also, on the last episode of season three, they should have shown the fight between Nathan, Peter, and Sylar. That incident probably added a large drop to the already decreased ratings. Season four was alright, but it could have done. Peter should have regained all his powers and two endings should have happened: The final conflict should have been between Sylar and Samuel, or the rematch of Peter vs. Sylar.
Please give us season 5! i love this show and it needs a proper season ending! A movie or a short just wont do!
I’m beginning to feel desperate! I’m hearing rumors all over the place that season 5 has been canceled! I’m basically on my knees now praying that they really are only rumors! I have been waiting for season 5 dutifully all the while keeping an eye on the dvd section in the stores so I can buy the 4th. And now I hear it’s canceled? I’m really sincerely hoping it won’t come to this.
This sucks. I started watching this show online 2 weeks ago and I’ve already seen all the episodes. I’m completely hoked, and now the show is canceled!? Had I known that I wouldn’t have started watching in the first place… Now I’m just disappointed… I’ll never know if my favorite character Gretchen ever gets Claire to go out with her! I hope they give me something to work with. I hate reading, but I would read any book they make to conclude this show. With so many awards and nominations, I’m so surprised that they’re canceling it! The 4th season was my favorite! I can’t believe that it got bad reviews… I’m so bummed out now, I literally don’t know what to do. I know it’s sad, but I really liked this show.

In my opinion the only reason Heroes was losing viewers is because it’s on the some time that House was on for new episodes. I just started watching Heroes last year. It seems a lot of the shows that I start watching either gets cancelled or ended a while ago. I haven’t even heard of Heroes until a co-worker of mine got me into watching it last year. Just so frustrating that it most likely will be cancelled if not already. >:\

HEROES is a refreshing well written series…especially with all the(often rigged) reality shows flooding the networks these days. NBC needs to at leastlet the writers put closure on the series. They owe to the avid viewers who believe that heros really do exist.

I love heroes!!! they honestly need to be renewed because it was an amazing show, I was practically growing up on it during my high school years and too be honest it was practically the only good show airing at the time.
I have watched the whole series and think this show has to be one of the best shows I have ever seen. I have seen the lineup of sit-coms and police shows and they all are the same genre, and honestly that is boring. It was so nice to see something that was so different, so alive, and so full of rich storyline. I plead to those fans out there to make a voice heard. Perhaps through our combined efforts we can see just what happens after “Brave New World”
I’m sad to see Heroes go away. I enjoyed it and was a dedicated viewer. It was truly the only good drama on TV. Leave it to some over paid dumbass executives to cancel a good thing. Most of us are sick of the same old cop/lawyer dramas, whereas Heroes had a unique story line. I also think that Lost was lost a long time ago, and should have been cancelled afer it’s first season. I will await a possible new sequel to “Brave New World” My condolences go out to NBCs, executive’s brain cells.

It makes me sad that they decided to stop airing one of the few TV shows that actually kept me interested for more than one season or the occasional watch of being bored. 🙁 I looovvedd Masi Oka, he was such an amazing actor in Heroes. I’m reaalllyy going to miss this show.
It also makes me a little angry that they leave some of the awful shows on their channel and cancel one of the best, dwindling ratings and watchers? Are you kidding me? Have you looked at the ratings, 4 and a half stars? The fans? Over two million? Some of the most watched shows don’t have this high of a rating or this many fans.

I would definitely watch a Heroes movie!!! The first couple seasons were amazing, but it seems like the last two had too many characters to follow. Don’t get me wrong, I’m a Heroes fan to the end, and I kinda like the twist that Sylar might be turning good, so I’ll watch what they show us. But put Micah back in please!! Whatever happened to him I’d like to know? Get one final season or movie to sum it all up and you’ll make all the fans happy 🙂

Oh noooooo! I was looking to see if there was going to be Season 5 for Heroes and it makes me sad to found out that there isn’t as of right now. Heroes is amazing! It needs to be brought back! Forget about the movie. The movie will probably suck since everything needs to be bunched in together in 2 hours! Another season will be great! When I heard Heros wasn’t going to have any more seasons I was disappointed. I really enjoyed watching it. I just hope they can find a way to make more. I thought this was one of the seasonal movies that would last a long time like Smallville or Stargate. OMG!!!!!! Its been forever since this article was written… I just watched all of the Hero’s seasons on Netflix…. and Im super bummed out that their arent more…. I mean come on!! How did the world react when Claire showed them her ability?? Sylar is good now!! Is that gonna last?? What happens with Hiro?? Ughh…. for real we need to get these seasons going again, even if it means going to a new Network, or even doing a movie! As part of the UK’s legion of fans I’m disappointed to hear of the show’s demise. However, so many errors were made in the 2nd season and it was never quite able to pull it back. The season’s which followed lacked convincing storylines & character development and most of the main characters from previous seasons were either completely forgotten about (Caitlin, for example, who was abandoned in a plague-ridden future with no further reference) or killed off without an emotional punch.
If another series was to transpire, it would be nice to have closure for all the loose ends, but I fear it could so more damage than good.

For those of you wanting a new season I can help you out here…There is going to be a new company, will start out good then be evil, sylar will be good again then evil then good, Claire and her dad will continue to have father daughter issues, Hiro and other asian dude will give lame comic relief, that Tracy girl will show off her body some more, then it will end with a huge fight scene behind close doors…so yea we wont see it.

NBC what is your deal really you going to be a bunch of dushies and be like FOX when they ended terminator the sarah connor chronicles after seasion 2. I hate dumb ass like that Im tyerd of watching american ideal with people that cant sing, america got talent with dumb shits on it think that they have something and they dont, or stuped ass shows that try to be funny like the office, american dad, family guy, simpsons, these are just some of the shows im talking about. Heroes have some kinks that need to be worked out nothing that cant be fixed. but over all it’s a good show and needs to come back if not fuck NBC ill stop watching them like I stoped watching Fox.

extremly pissed…. exstremly pissed, cant stress to people enough how much i hate mbc right now 🙁 i am sad. the first series i have ever seen… loved it…. hated it…. cried over it. and now after about 2 months of watching the whole series on netflix…. honestly JUST watched the last episode, couldnt find volume 6, got on the internet… just found out it was cancled. fml…… i mean finaly sylar is a good guy, sumthing iv waited for sence forever. and for all those people who didnt like how long it took 4 the season to unfold, watch it ALL on netfix…. cause it went by damn fast for me 🙁

A few things which i didn’t get were when speedster takes the formula from hero when he opens the safe why didn’t he went back in time like say 10 min and stopped her from taking it.
If nova can be brought back to life with clares blood why they didnt bring back naithin his death was unnecessary.

i love heroes, i have all four season’s and all five volumes; which are the same. heroes was a great show; an when they cancelled it it would have alittle okay but they left us which us with the worse cliffhanger imaginable; everyone finally finding out about Claire rapid cell regeneration, an leave it like that. what happen’s to sylar, does peter an Emma hook up? what’s up with the carnival? all im saying is that i would give my left arm to see this show again on NBC, it was the only reason i watched NBC; well besides “chuck”. well i have to go for now… i hope you guy’s are putting you heads together… because we all need HEROES to come back.
Please for the love of god put this show back on the air. I can’t believe that they would leave us with such a cliff hanger. Does anyone know if theirs a comic base series on heroes that maybe continues to show what happens in the brave new world??? I would even consider reading a comic to see what happens and I’m 33!
I been buying each season because i like them so much that I figured my 3 year old will like I did that when he is older. Can’t believe its being cancelled. Its the best show ever!! If they get cancelled it will be one of those shows people wished had more seasons….and will remember all the cast like the original star trek.

They seriously need to bring this show back even if it’s in a movie to give it an ending. There’s very few good shows out there, and Heroes was one of them. I guess ppl now a days would rather watch reality drama smh. People are still wanting NBC to bring this show back for a while now that should count for something. I don’t care what they do, but I hope they get something out soon. I just watched every episode of heroes in the past 5 days. I always wanted to watch when it first came out, but never had time. My friend just handed me the first season on dvd a few days ago, and I had a few days off so it worked. I don’t know why these idiot higher ups don’t know how to keep a good show. It seems like I always get into shows after there supposed to be cancelled anyway. I think it’s time they realize that alot of people don’t even watch tv anymore. I have this magical thing called netflix I normally turn to. I mean shoot, yeah your ratings dropped, but I just now got into it and if they finish it and come out with a compete collection, I’ll buy it. Give me a finish.
I would like to agree with so many ppl on here the ratings did drop there was ups and downs but that is no reason to just end the show like it was cause it leaves it still all open clair jumping then it saying to be continued yea a movie or something should be released wrapping up all the loose end as Noah Bennet would say lol but serioulsly how would the producers feel if they werent producers and they were the fans and we the fans (producers) just ended a good show like that bascially im sayin how would it be the other way around ,but yes i really enjoyed the show thought bout buying the seasons on dvd but after a “finale” like that no way not until there is a conclusion and u know thats one thing a movie,show, or story has is a conclusion and that good ppl is not a conclusion

Must be nuts, the first season was excellent with a damp squib of a finally, the 2nd series too slow and then they lost the plot completely.
Ridiculous plots, too much time travel etc. Really wasnt going anywhere and had no real story arc.
How they ruined what could have been great I dont know. Writers totally to blame.

Whoever is in charge of NBC, needs to be slapped for canceling a good show. After doing some research, it seem that over the years Heroes has become one of the most wanted shows to watch. Why cancel it, because now they will more then likely have to pay the actors more money, based of the demand. We as the people want our characters back in action.

This sort of “premature ejaculation” seems to be common among TV series producers.
This is why I generally wait to watch a series until it is completed and don’t watch network television with all its advertising. I find a series I want to watch, like this one, search for the series name with “cancelled” and look for comments that say the ending left people hanging. If I find those, I don’t waste my time on the series no matter how good it was supposed to be.
For example, I didn’t watch Stargate SG-1 until the last movie came out, and I refused to watch Stargate Universe at all because it’s another incomplete series. I watched Battle Star Galactica after it was finished, but not Caprica due to the premature cancellation. I would very much like to see many shows finished, but I don’t feel cheated by the incomplete ones because I learned my lesson with Sliders and never watched a TV series before it was finished ever again.
If you’re tired of being screwed by cancellations, send a message by being another late adopter of new shows. Sure, it means you don’t get to chat about the latest show at work the day after it airs, but it also means you don’t waste your life on entertainment products that can’t deliver a solid ending. Viewers determine the behavior of TV series producers. Stop rewarding their bad behavior. Refuse to watch anything else they crank out until they start finishing what they start once again.

i saw that claire jump off and everyone knew who they were and syler was a good person now i think
so what kinda point of making heroes season 5 if thiers no more villians it will be stupid if syler become an enemy again like seruisly though

then it said
‘VOLUME 6’ I WAS like waa!! so idk i saw it on netflix on the ps3 i got really confused when they said end of volume 5 then goes to 6 so thier is no point to continue its finish and idk y they said at the

Me and my family are hooked on Heroes people are retarted to leave a show just hanging like that i would pay for the DVD if they make the next season. Its something that brings a family together and makes a point and i would go through hours of READING just to read what happens. like why was it cancelled it has enough viewers or at least now it does right? Like seriously can shows just drop like that because if i was NBC i would keep it on for all the people that connect and come together as a family to see this show. I would at least WATCH heroes and give it a chance like why would they do that when claire EXPOSES HERSELF AND EVERYONE!!!
