Casting for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger TidesWe learned just this weekend that Disney had Green Light on the new Pirates of the Caribbean film.

And of course, many roles are going to be open now for casting on Pirates of the Caribbea: On Stranger Tide.

All the information regarding the castings of Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tide will be posted soon, since the shooting will start on April 2010.

Johnny Depp will Star the movie, but neither Keira Knightley nor Orlando Bloom are expected to join the cast.

That means many many big roles open for audition on Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides.

The Principal Actors Casting for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be held by Francine Masler Casting, and The Extras Casting for Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be held by Sande and Jennifer Alessi.

Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides will be shooting in Los Angeles, CA in August, 2010. The extras casting directors are holding open casting calls to hire photo doubles for the starring and supporting actors as well as extras to appear in the film as pirates. There is no experience necessary, however you must be 18 years or older and be legal to work in the United States.

Here is what they are seeking:

Authentic-looking scavenger-types, ages 18 to 60s, all ethnicities, especially extreme characters – very thin, lean body types, very tall, very short, emaciated, odd features, huge nose, bulging eyes, big ears, lazy eye, grizzled and wrinkled faces, odd body types, missing teeth etc.

British Soldiers: Very, very handsome, ages 18 – 35, 5″10 to 6’1, caucasian.

Also casting photo doubles for lead and supporting actors that can fit the following sizes and looks:

Pirate 1: Caucasian, 6’2, 185lbs, 32” waist, long blonde dreads 20 years old.

Pirate 2: Caucasian, 5’10, 168lbs, 33” waist, 40 coat, dark curly shoulder length hair/blue eyes, 23 years old.

Pirate 3: Caucasian, 5’10, 140lbs, 32″ waist, short gray beard short salt and pepper hair 50 years old.

Pirate 4: Caucasian, 4’11, 107lbs, 40″ waist, gray beard and hair 60 years old.

Pirate 5: Caucasian, 5’8, 145lbs, 30″ waist, reddish long curly hair, grayish beard, 52 years old.

Pirate 6: Caucasian, 5’11, 170lbs, 34” waist, bald head, red beard, green eyes, 40 years old.

Pirate 7: Caucasian, 6’1, 125lbs, short brown hai, light beard, 40 years old.

Pirate 8: African American, 6’5, 215lbs, 43” waist, 43 years old, long dreads, long beard.

Pirate 9: Hispanic, 5’4, 165lbs, waist 32″, curly brown shoulder length hair and beard, 22 years old.

Pirate 10: Hawaiian/Asian/African American, 5’8, 170lbs, waist 34″, dark dreads just past shoulders, beard with gray, 49 years old.

Pirate 11: Chinese, 5’8, 135lbs, waist 30″, short gray hair and beard, 60 years old’
