Ok, American Idol first Season 8 Gala just ended, with the first twelve contestants trying to get the nod.

Ricky Braddy is trying so on a Leon Russell hit.

Randy Jackson Said: Dude, that was really unbelievable

Kara DioGuardi: You killed that. It was amazing (Killing a song is a good thing?)

Paula Abdul said: America gets to see how good you are

Simon Cowell said: My only concern is if you have the charisma to be a star (Well… he thought the same about David Cook, right?)
