The Debmar Mercury´s Syndicated talk show that is currently on the front part of a two year deal has just learned that The Wendy Williams Show has been renewed for three more years, extending the show four more years, bringing the total count of the show to eight seasons when this contract is up.
Not bad at all for The Wendy Williams Show, but also it was expected to get this kind of deal, as, according to Fox it was the only talk show in all of syndication managing to get year to year growth in the ratings, getting a whopping 43% increase in the women 25-54 demo. Since the show is getting this much traction, particularily thanks to its Hot Topics segment, The Wendy Williams Show is not only renewed for the long run in the future, it was also asked to add some episodes for this summer, extending the current season.
Finally, The Wendy Williams Show also sealed the deal on new network affiliates, expanding its territorial coverage throughout the country.
