After Garage Sale Mystery, which will be the first wheel of the Wheel Set on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries in 2015. Now, The second wheel stars Dylan Neal, from Debbie Macomber´s Cedar Cove, comes The Gourmet Detective, based on the series of books by Peter King.
Neal will be the executive producer and his real life wife Becky Southwell will write the movies about the chef turned culinary sleuth.
In The Gourmet Detective, a culinary phenom uses his mastery of food, drink and cooking to solve crimes of the culinary world. Whether it´s the theft of a valuable recipe or a suspicious murder in the middle of a five star restaurant, his insight, skills, and encyclopedic knowledge of all things edible always lead him to the culprit.
All this will be a part of Hallmark Movie Channel’s imminent rebrand to Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. The brand epositioning, which will come to life across digital and linear platforms on October 1, follows the successful brand redesign for sister network, Hallmark Channel 2 years ago.
Mystery movies to watch with the family… that sounds quite nice.
