The moment everybody was waiting for, the major award itself… the best film award will be announced a
mong a big pool of nominees consisting of:
American Sniper, Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance), Boyhood, The Grand Budapest Hotel, The Imitation Game, Selma, The Theory of Everything and Whiplash.
Sean Penn goes on stage after the predictions from Neil Patrick Harris are unveiled. Sean Penn always looks the same when he´s not acting. He always looks like a cross between bored and sleepy, but when he acts, boy… when he acts. I wish he used that acting face more. but when he said: “Who gave this son of a bitch a greencard?” line it was epic! Gonzalez Iñarritu and Michael Keaton gave the speeches.
So the winner was announced, and Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance) Wins the Oscar for Best Picture crowining a big night. Everybody comes to the stage, and Birdman becomes the big winner of the night, after nailing it for several awards.
