Very impressive show, if you watched HBO's Rome you'll love this one. It's not very historically accurate, but that's just fine by me a lot of artistic liberties to make these characters feel real and to keep the plot interesting. Spartacus started off as a Thracian prisoner, slave from a Quarry in real life.. here he's just shipped straight to the gladiatorial world.

I'm just finding out now that the show was cancelled. I'm so disappointed to hear this. If I was out sick, I'd watch. The show had a decency & kindness to it. And of course, anything like that must be pulled off the air if the rates are on the lower side. If it's not sensationalism & people aren't bouncing off the walls, then it goes.
