So, this should be no surprise, since the show is getting stronger and stronger, and on a creative high, on a network that loves having this kind of shows, so, to make things short: Showtime renewed House of Lies for season three.
Third season will have twelve brand new episodes that will air in 2015, as announced by David Nevins, President of Entertainment, Showtime Networks Inc., who has renewed the network’s full winter Sunday night line-up.
HOUSE OF LIES is the edgy, provocative hit SHOWTIME comedy series starring Don Cheadle in his twice Emmy-nominated and Golden Globe-winning role as elite consultant Marty Kaan, a man with a single-minded pursuit: power. This quest is eternally complicated at work by his relationships with his “Pod” of co-workers: sexy, whip-smart co-conspirator Jeannie (Kristen Bell) and underlings Clyde (Ben Schwartz) and Doug (Josh Lawson). At home, he’s forced to juggle unwanted advice from his psychoanalyst father Jeremiah (Emmy winner Glynn Turman), and drama from his demented ex-wife Monica (Dawn Olivieri), all while being a loving father to his gender-fluid teenage son Roscoe (Donis Leonard Jr.). Season three guest stars include Grammy® Award winner T.I. (American Gangster, Identity Thief), Mekhi Phifer (Lie to Me, ER), Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings, Scrubs) and Daniel Stern (Home Alone, The Wonder Years). Griffin Dunne (“The Rainmaker”), Bess Armstrong (“Julianne”) and Jenny Slate (“Sarah”) also returned this season as guest stars.
