trip-flip-cancelled-renewed-travel-channelIn a day filled with shows getting added to the lists of renewed shows of 2013 and cancelled shows of 2013, Travel Channel has renewed Trip Flip for a second season that premieres Sunday, March 17 at 8:00 p.m. ET/PT with back-to-back episodes, featuring professional fun-seeker and travel expert, Bert Kreischer, who returns to surprise travelers with incredible vacations. “This series is a double-shot of fun and adventure.  Two people not only get the vacation they never saw coming, they’ll have a blast with Bert – whose humor and wit, coupled with his travel chops, make him the ultimate tour guide,” said Andy Singer, GM, Travel Channel. “With all-new locations, both in the U.S. and abroad, ‘Trip Flip’ shows that with Travel Channel, a mind-blowing dream trip is just a ‘yes’ away.”

In the first half of the season premiere (8:00 p.m. ET/PT), Kreischer takes Los Angeles-based outdoorsy couple Ryan and Katie down under to the tropical wonderland of Cairns, Australia. Here they venture to the stunning Daintree Rainforest and take a leap of faith by bungee jumping off a 164-foot tower with the Godfather of bungee himself, Australian A.J. Hackett. On their final day, which is Ryan and Katie’s one-year wedding anniversary, Kreischer charters a private boat to take them scuba diving in the Great Barrier Reef. While they experience a jaw-dropping dive, Kreischer helps prepare an anniversary dinner on deck that will sure be hard to top for their second anniversary.
In the second all-new episode (8:30 p.m. ET/PT), Kreischer meets Orange County, CA-based couple, Will and Kristi, and takes them up the coast to Seattle – a trip that has coincidentally been on the bucket list of this seafood-loving couple for years. Kicking off their customized vacation, they’ll throw fish with the mongers at the famous Pike Place Fish Market. From there, they get the rare opportunity to bypass the “employees only” sign and take in the Emerald City from a unique perspective: the very top of the Space Needle! Afterwards, Will and Kristi experience the rush of freefalling in the world’s fastest wind tunnel and take on the raging rapids of the Tieton River.

Upcoming episodes include unforgettable itineraries in Austin; Jamaica; Chicago; Colorado; Las Vegas; Los Angeles; Miami; Puerto Rico; Sydney, Australia; Texas and more.
