Baby Daddy is in the middle of a great first season run, and it turned out to be quite a fun discovery to be added as a sitcom to watch.
But just in case you are still not watching it, I am going to give you ten reasons to watch Baby Daddy on ABC Family. I can think that being on air after Melissa & Joey is also another good reason, but I´ll list ten of its own meritorious reasons.
10 Reasons to Watch Baby Daddy on ABC Family
1- The Plot is simple but funny:
“Baby Daddy” follows Ben (Bilodeau), a young man in his early 20s living the life of a bachelor as a bartender in New York City with his buddy, Tucker (Mowry), and his brother, Danny (Theler), a professional hockey player. Their lives are turned upside down when they come home one day to find a baby girl left on the doorstep by an ex-girlfriend of Ben’s. After much deliberation, Ben decides to raise the baby with the help of his friends and his protective and sometimes over-bearing mother, Bonnie (Peterman), and his close female friend, Riley (Kane), who has had a secret crush on him since childhood. Riley is hopeful that Ben will finally take notice, but she doesn’t realize that Ben’s brother, Danny, is harboring a secret crush on her.
2- The Cast Chemistry:
One a show has a good cast with chemistry between them it shows. This show definitely has it. I bet they have fun filming it.
3- Melissa Peterman:
She is so hilarious. We loved her on Reba, and we definitely love her now.
4- The brothers dynamics:
They don´t look like brothers, but they sure make for a funny duo.
5- The roommate:
You know how every show tries to get a quirky secondary character. Every show tried to mimic Kramer, Chandler or Barney Stinson. Good thing about Baby Daddy is that the roommate does not go that route and make for a new different character.
6- The love triangle:
She is in love with him and he doesn´t know, but his brother is in love with her and she doesn´t know. The possibilities!
7- The continuity:
Show has already been renewed for season two. So you can be sure you have it to stay.
8- The guest stars:
Last episode featured Greg Grunberg as the father of the two guys. And as he said on an interview with us earlier in the day: “I´d love to come back to the show if they have me”. We need to make this happen.
9- It features the single funniest moment on TV this summer:
When Melissa Peterman and Greg Grunberg hug on this episode. It´s priceless. You´ll want to watch it over and over.
10- It´s always good to have a laugh:
And this show provides laughing material on a family show.
