single-ladies-vh1-cancelled-renewed-season-threeIn another article aimed at filling the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012; it´s time to review what happened on a pop culture cabler: VH1 renewed Single Ladies for season three. It shouldn´t surprise, since the show has been solid to VH1 during its second season, averaging north of 3 million viewers.

Single Ladies season three renewal order targets a comeback for early 2013 for the show.

Jeff Olde, Executive Vice President of Original Programming & Production, VH1 said on the official announcement of Single Ladies Renewal: “Our viewers’ love affair with ‘Single Ladies’ got even bigger this year, growing significantly from its successful first season and dominating its timeslot on basic cable… We’re extremely happy that we’ll be able to give the audience another great season of the series and its honest, current take on love, dating and female friendship.”

This season the women of “Single Ladies” had several new romantic storylines including one with Latin heartthrob William Levy, whose character “Antonio” reconnected with his former flame Raquel, while “One Life to Live” alum Terrell Tilford’s character “Sean” returned to shake up Keisha’s love life.
