In this case, a renewal for The League for a fourth season to start shooting in 2012.

FX’s Executive Vice President Nick Grad said in an official announcement about The League renewal: “The League continues to be one of our most successful comedy series both creatively and from a ratings standpoint”.

The renewal order for The League by FX is for thirteen episodes as the show gets stronger, after posting gains of 25 % in ratings in total viewers, and 32% growth in the coveted 18 – 49 adult demo.

The League is a semi-scripted comedy about a fantasy football league starring Mark Duplass, Nick Kroll, Jonathan Lajoie, Stephen Rannazzisi, Paul Scheer and Katie Aselton.
