The year is not over, so, before starting my lists for 2012, there´s still info to fill the renewed shows on 2011 and all the cancelled shows on 2011 lists.
In this case, bad news from the other Lifetime freshman series, since Against The Wall got cancelled in its first run, just like it happened with The Protector, and there won´t be any sophomore seasons for wither Lifetime new scripted originals.
The show premiered to a mere 1,8 million viewers, eben shyer than The Protector, but raised very good critiques. Unfortunately, it could not gain viewership, thus resulting in Lifetime cancelling Against The Wall, and making the network order 10 more episodes of veteran Army Wives in order to use it as a platform to launch new shows, while also taking advantage of the very solid and good quality Drop Dead Diva too.
Lifetime cancelled Against The Wall but has some shows in the gates ready to start in 2012: The Client List, starring Jennifer Love Hewitt, Modern Love starring Eric Stoltz and Sworn to Secrecy starring Neve Campbell.

So sad to here against the wall got cancelled… i really like the show plus they left it on such a cliff hanger!!
NO NO NO……Bastards. WHO DID SHE PICK???????? im so sick of the networks cancelling the good shows and then leaving us hanging. Lifetime Sucks.
Another Lifetime mistake…hope another network picks this up. Yet they keep stupid shows like Dance Moms – GAWD I cannot stand that woman!
Let’s just boycott Lifetime – they can’t figure out when they have a good show or not. IDIOTS!
How can they cancel a great show like Against the Wall? I was looking forward to the answer to the cliff hanger and the adventures of the whole family. This is a total bummer.
I am SO mad that Against the Wall was cancelled……this was such a great cop show, with a female lead….now we won’t know who Abby picked or what will happen next…..come on Lifetime……Dance Moms you keep but Against the Wall you cancel????? REALLY???? I may not watch Lifetime anymore, so angry about this!
This sucks! Against the wall was a great show. Too bad we are stuck with garbage shows now. Guess there is no reason to watch lifetime.
Very upset it was cancelled. I agree – I hope another network picks it up. Lifetime used to be my favorite and I am very disappointed in it. The shows they are bringing in to not seem intriguing at all.
So bummed that it got cancelled! This was one of my favorite shows last year. I hope they will pick it up again or maybe another network will.

I am really bummed it was cancelled! I just found out today, I kept looking to see if it was on! I loved that show! No reason to boycott it wont help! I only watch Army Wives on here now! I quit watching all other stations too cause they keep cancelling all the good shows. Dance moms is horrible and so are a few others! WHAT A SHAME!!
Once again a show like “Against the Wall” was cancelled before it had a chance. It was a great show with great actors and characters! You cant always look at numbers to make decisions, boy Lifetime sure made a big mistake here. Against the Wall was gaining ground and by season 2 would have been a sure fire hit. Too bad they dont let the audience have a say on what stays and what goes. I’m moving away from Lifetime and moving to another station that appreciates a good thing when they have it. The replacement shows are a joke compared to Against the Wall. You don’t get people hooked on a show then cancel it after one season. Bad move Lifetime, u will regret it!
Lifetime made a huge mistake to drop Against the Wall. I’m so tired of Lifetime moving in the direction of reality TV. How do some of these shows empower women? If it weren’t for Drop Dead Diva and Army Wives, I wouldn’t watch Lifetime.
I wish they whould have kept Against the Wall also but i like the Client list and Dance Moms. Army Wives is old and Drop Dead Diva needs to be dropped. Im mad that they canceled Against the Wall but glad they picked up The Client List I hope they dont cancel that
They picked up Life With Tripp or whatever and didn’t bring back Against The Wall…really? Who’s making these decisions? They should be fired!!!
It is very obvious that Lifetime does not care about their viewers. How can they lead us on like they did. I was waiting so anxiously to find out who she picked. I guess we will never know. I have been a follower of Lifetime for many years. I guess it is time to move on to another channel, who appreciates their viewers. Good Luck Lifetime. It is just a matter of time before your viewers leave you stranded like you did to them!
It stinks they canceled Against the Wall. They left us with a great cliff hanger. I wish they gave it another chance. I believe it would have caught on.

We live in Indonesia which is the other part of the world and we just got to see “Against the Wall” in our country on Diva Channel and enjoy the series so much that I google it tonight, and got sooo disappointed to know that the series got cancelled for a 2nd season?!!! That is so annoying! I hope some other US channel get to buy and put the 2nd season on again for us to enjoy and continue the story. It’s so well written. I just love this TV drama.
I am so upset they cancelled it. I followed the show religiously. It was my favorite series last year, and I’ve rewatched it at least 6 times. At least release like an ending episode or something to let us know who she picked? You honestly can’t leave us with a cliffhanger like that….
I still wish this show would come back on even if it was a different network. It was really well done. I hate how Lifetime does the stupid shows and cancels the best shows.
