Cancelled and Renewed Shows 2012: ABC cancelled Pan Am

pan-am-cancelled-renewed-abcMore information to fill the lists for cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012.  The writing was on the wall for a long while, since the show halted production long ago, and was pulled off the schedule. But, now, it´s official: ABC cancels Pan Am. Did someone notice? Not sure at this point. I guess everybody already knew it was a done deal.

Pan Am is an American period drama television series created by writer Jack Orman. Named for the iconic Pan American World Airways, the series focuses on the pilots and stewardesses of the airline as it operated in the early 1960s at the beginning of the commercial jet age.

Show had a stellar cast headlined by Christina Ricci, but failed to gain the eyeballs of viewers. The pilot cost near 10 million dollars to make, so paired to low ratings, there was no other possible choice for the network than to cancel Pan Am. International distribution, DVR´ing and all other chances for hope, were not going to save the show, though.
