Archer-FX-cancelled-renewed-sason-fourHere I have more info to add cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012,and this one is coming from the animated series front.

FX renews Archer for season four, and it will come back later this year for its fourth run.

“It was an easy decision to order more Archer,” said FX’s EVP original programming Nick Grad. “Adam, Matt, and our amazing voice cast are delivering one of the funniest and smartest shows on television.”FX renewal order for Archer consists of 13 episodes, and is bringing the show to the syndication number, probably hitting it in a couple more runs.

In its current third season, Archer has posted ratings gains vs. Season 2 of 62% in adults 18-34 (1.03 million), 44% in adults 18-49 (1.58 million) and 32% in total viewers (2.0 million), therefore explaining what the executive said about being an easy decision to renew Archer for season four.

Inspiration behind Archer came to Reed while in a cafe in Salamanca, Spain. Finding himself unable to approach a beautiful woman seated nearby, Reed conjured up the idea of a spy who “would have a perfect line”, so that is also a good reason to keep watching the recently renewed Archer.

What do you think? Are you happy FX renewed Archer for season four?

Also, remember to follow me on Twitter for more shows getting renewed as Archer did.
