Total-Blackout-cancelled-renewed-Season-2This have been a quiet week, but it couldn´t end without something to add to the lists of cancelled shows of 2012 and renewed shows of 2012.  And this one is about a guilty pleasure: Syfy renews Total Blackout for season two.

Why I am calling it a guilty pleasure? Well, if you have to ask that, it´s because you haven´t seen the show. I mean grown a** men crying and screaming, same for the ladies entering the show just by touching a teddy bear or something like that.

The series is an extreme game show in which contestants battle each other and their fears in a series of challenges.  However, there is a twist — all the challenges are played in complete darkness.  There are no lights, no blindfolds and it’s no-holds barred as the players face their fears and unexpected surprises in a series of nerve-wracking games.

And now Syfy’s Total Blackout has been renewed for 16 episodes. The first eight of the new episodes will start the comeback on Tuesday, November 13.

The show is being hosted by Jaleel White and features four contestants in each episode (except couples special).
