Dirty Sexy Money is cancelled. It has been a great show, but its stamina got to an end. This one is officially cancelled, there´s not much hope for the show… we saw a lot of other Cancelled Shows and Series…
Dirty Sexy Money is an American television series created by Craig Wright, which premiered on the American Broadcasting Company on September 26, 2007. The series revolves around lawyer and family man Nick George, portrayed by Peter Krause. When Nick’s father mysteriously dies in a plane crash, he agrees to take his position as the Darling family’s lawyer, while trying to discover who committed the murder. The Darlings, the richest family in New York, constantly rely on Nick to solve their problems. Nick struggles to balance his morals and family life while dealing with the demands of the Darlings. The series is produced by ABC Studios, Bad Hat Harry Productions, Berlanti Television and Gross Entertainment. Wright serves as an executive producer alongside Greg Berlanti, Bryan Singer, Matthew Gross, Peter Horton and Josh Reims, with Melissa Berman producing.
On November 16, 2007, ABC ordered a full 22-episode season for the show, making it the first show to receive a full season order since the WGA writers’ strike began on November 5, 2007. However, in the end, the first season comprised only 10 episodes due to the strike. Dirty Sexy Money: The Complete First Season, a three-disc DVD set including all 10 original episodes and exclusive bonus features including bloopers, audio commentary, deleted scenes, and featurettes, and more, was released on September 16, 2008. The second season premiered on October 1, 2008, ten months after the first season finale. On November 20, 2008, ABC decided not to order any additional episodes for the 2008-2009 TV season.
ABC has announced the final episodes of Dirty Sexy Money will air on July 18 at 10 p.m. The Seven Network in Australia has aired all episodes of Season 2 that were unaired in the USA. Also Kanal 5 in Sweden aired the episodes, the last one on March 18, 2009.
Because of its cancellation in the US and low ratings for its first season in the UK there will be no new shows on Channel 4 for the foreseeable future. However, Season 2 will commence airing on E4 in a totally new time slot. For Season One it aired Tuesday nights at 9.00pm, whereas for season two it will be airing Sunday nights after Desperate Housewives at 11pm starting on March 8, 2009.
The final four episodes of the series will air Saturdays at 10:00PM Eastern/9:00PM Central on ABC starting Saturday, July 18, 2009.

Because of the writer strikes you didn’t give this show enough time to come back. I can’t believe you cancelled this show. This is one of the best shows ABC has to offer.

I, as many of my friends, are extremely upset that this show is being cancelled. We all thought this was absolutely the best show being aired by ABC. Please reconsider and give it another season.

Dirty Sexy Money is not being given a fair chance. First you cancel the show because the writer’s strike hurt the ratings, then you bring it back for a second chance for four weeks in the weakest viewing time you could give it…mid Summer !

This is ridiculous! I cant believe that you’ve cancelled such a great show. There is so much crap on tv nowadays and you leave those crappy shows going. Dirty Sexy Money is the next generation of the J.R Ewings etc…..
I dont believe it was cancelled because of low ratings that is bull, something else is up ?? So what is it ?

Of course it’s cancelled, how could it not be….. Too good to last, should have known better, almost makes me want to stop watching tv. It should be law that a show has to have a proper ending after each season…. No cliffhangers… it’s just too hard…..

Bring back Dirty Sexy Money! It is the only show that my husband and I watch together. He works a lot and makes time to come home and enjoy this show! It is a great show and compares to Dynasty. Give it a chance!!

I can’t believe that you would cancel DIRTY SEXY MONEY……Put it in a new time slot and watch it soar…it is a great story with some of the best actors…..Give it another chance..Oh, that’s right I’m sure BIG BROTHER or WIPEOUT is more popular than DIRTY SEXY MONEY…I for one will not watch your tv station, I am boycotting it for this cancellation!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Abc quit moving shows around….if you are going to do them put as much effort into promoting them as you do the soaps and Desperate Housewives…The only reason I knew about DS, Eli Stone and Daisies summer showing was the internet…plus you could have shown them during the week…whose home on saturday nights in the summer anyway????

Cancelled? Are you kidding me? ABC didnt even promote this show as much as Grey’s Anatomy and Desperate Housewives or even those stupid reality shows.
Dirty Sexy money was the only show worth watching in addition to Lost and Grey’s Anatomy. And now it’s cancelled?
With reality television taking over all the channels there really is no reason to watching TV anymore.

This is absolutely ridiculous. You have a great cast, great story lines. Everytime I get hooked on a new show it gets pulled. So sad and disappointing. I don’t want to watch reality TV, that isn’t reality. It is all so fake and totally STUPID!!! I want a good story and drama.

You have to be joking that DSM is going to be canceled. If you would keep shows on in a consistent time and place the fans would multiply. I love DSM and am quite sure that everyone including me would rather watch it than that reality TV. Good show seem to get the shaft too often. Please reconsider keeping DSM!

What are the chances of one of the cable stations,ie; TNT or USA, picking up Dirty Sexy Money and continuing the story line…they really left openings for new shows… Nola coming back for Jeremy, Nick’s dad still alive, Lisa wanting to get back with Nick…and so it continues…

I can not believe this show has been cancelled. I just purchased the 2nd series on DVD and watched it in 2 days. It is a fantastic show, give it another chance. Please bring it back!

I just bought the second season of dirty sexy money and I can’t believe the alleged “closing” episode. Nothing was closed. Nick, the mostly honest guy giving up his beautiful smart wife and daughter for the rich bimbo. His father, still alive with no explanation of what happened and why. Nola comming back to a married jeremy with a dumb look on his face. Its not possible!!!! Please bring the show back or at least a few episodes to properly give the vewers a proper closing. The network owes the fans this.

I really loved the show due to the excellent “old school” talent. Sutherland is awesome. However, a Baldwin kissing a guy? C’mon, man get with the rest of the country and quit kissing the ass of Manhattan and Hollywood. Enough with the gay stuff. Just write great story lines!
