ABC cancelled Flash Forward.
Flash Forward cancellation by ABC came in the middle of some huge renewals and cancellation news day: Chuck got renewed by NBC, Heroes is getting cancelled, Law & Order cancellation, One Tree Hill renewal, Life Unexpected renewal, V renewal by ABC, Romantically Challenged cancellation, Better Off Ted cancellation, so…
Flash Forward gets cancelled and it´s not a big surprise since the show was quite good, but the ratings just weren´t there. But, we thought ABC was giving Flash Forward a chance to be the next Lost… not a good time to be the next anything, since both Flash Forward got cancelled (it was supposed to be the next Lost), and Happy Town got cancelled (supposed to be the next Twin Peaks)

Very dissappointed that one and only intelligent show on ABC got cancelled! what a shame! makes me wonder if anyone thinks before making the decisions on ABC! I agree, BOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
shame on ABC for leaving us all hanging like that. Best show on tv if you ask me. I can’t believe they kept V instead seems to me like the only crap that they air on tv is stupid reality shows or comedy series that are not that funny. Have you forgotten that some of us still like to use our brains and think!!!!!please reconsider!! Also I will think twice before trying any new shows due to the fact that the good ones all get canned!!!
I’m very upset too to learn that Flash Fwd, is cancelled. Thanks ABC for letting me waste so much time –time I could of been spending on better s hows on other networks!! TIme with my spouse, family, friends. And as others said it sucks to leave us hanging. After all that thought process and mind bending you put me t hrough and nothing! No wonder I watch CBS so much.!
YOU SUCK FOR CANCELING FLASH FORWARD IT WAS A VERY GOOD SHOW I WATCH IT FROM THE MOMENT IT WAS STARTED TIL THE SEASON FINALE WHY YOU WOULD CANCEL A SHOW LIKE THAT IS STUPID AND BEYOND ME.

Like the many before me I am deeply disappointed that this show which i was most recently introduced to via the library is no more. I am left with so many unanswered questions and will never know the outcome of the writers imagination about a storyline that spoke to the seriousness of not only energy conservation but too our responsibility to the environment and each other as caretakers of this earth. And to make things matter this show of quality and potential has been replaced by sci-fi show that leaves no room for thought or discussion because it is not based on any reality we would like to be apart of but the idea of a black out is real and was real and could just happen maybe that is why the show was canceled.

I am highly upset that Flash Forward got canceled!! Like Shayna and DL_LD said, a lot of people watch shows online nowadays, including myself. I know that television ratings are a great way to track how well a show is doing and it’s hard to record online viewership, but all networks need to take that into account – that people are beginning to watch shows online. Maybe, when thinking about canceling a show, BEFORE actually canceling the show, networks can ask viewers for feedback online on what to do with the show next. What good is money spent to produce and air a show on television, then cancel it, produce and air a new show, cancel it, and so on? Online episodes are the new thing!
I’ve just seen the finale and I think that the decision to end it here was really bad. I really liked the show. I couldn’t stop watching it. And now I´m left with that uncertain ending. I couldn´t watch it at the original time because I don´t even live in the US but I think there are millions of people like me who liked it it eventhough they can’t directly effect the rating-meters. I think it would be great to renew this great show.
I was looking forward to a second season of V, but I am really disappointed to not have another flashforward or legend of the seeker for that matter. I am not alone in this, but the question is … how to get them back? I missed it while being deployed as did many of the people I was with. If hundreds here in the middle of nowhere are Jonesing for each episode, then it is hard to believe that it isn’t similar in many other places. Looking at the line up the only things I see worth watching now are blue bloods and V. I like sci-fi and fantasy. Reality shows have been done to death … time to take the shovel and put the dirt on top of those. ABC, … get bent and stop cancelling the better shows for crap.
I am really upset about the cancellation of Flash Forward. I have a hard time accepting the method used by the networks in determining which shows to air and which ones to throw away. Whoever the “Neilson” (sp?) families are they don’t share my interest in TV shows. I don’t really have much time to watch tv, but Flash Forward was one of the few shows that I made sure to TiVo. ABC needs to bring the show back!!!!!!!!!!!!
Senga, I totally agree with you. I never watched Flash Forward because I was afraid I would get hooked and ABC would cancel it. ABC is always doing that and I’m sick of them. I did get hooked on V and am glad that it has been renewed. Desperate Housewives and Castle are the only ABC shows I now watch. After they get cancelled, I will never watch ABC again because they always cancel good shows and keep all the reality garbage on the air. I can’t believe how many morons there are in this country that are keeping reality TV alive.
its been 2 years now that this show has been canceled. 2 weeks ago i started watching flash foward on netflix. i want to know if mark lived. what that meant in chariels flash foward. if janics baby is okay. if demetri goes to hawii or stays with janic and her baby. And most of all i want to see if demetri saw a flash forward. i really miss this show. and you could very well bring it back. i dont see why this show was canceled. theres not any more good shows on ABC if you can bring this back think of how many people will be happy. no body in there right mind should diss on this show!! please bring it back. its not to late!
