Rookie show Rookie Blue gets renewal notice from ABC pretty early, since they only aired three episodes before the good news.
Solid ratings for the police show helped the decision by the execs at ABC to renew Rookie Blue for a second season.
They averaged 7.1 millions viewers… perhaps not so much, but let´s all remember it´s summertime…

I like Rookie Blue, but I think it’s funny, as a Canadian, that they never really mention the city that they’re in, but it’s obviously Toronto, just like Covert Affairs, which is set in Washington DC, but films in Toronto.
