We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And this time, AMC renewed The Walking Dead for a second season, and the show hasn´t even premiered!
Same thing that happened to Movie Network´s Call me Fitz renewal, and Spartacus Blood and Sand renewal,The Walking Dead is renewed before pilot episode hits TV.
Frank Darabont´s show has gotten lots of attention since a trailer aired at Comic Con, and that buzz really helprd the network to decide on a second season renewal for The Walking Dead.
As usual, AMC second season consists on 13 episodes, hence upping The Walking Dead renewal order from a first six episodes season (also usual at AMC) to a thirteen episodes second season.

I hope it lives up to its reputation. The graphic novel series is VERY dark and I’m wondering how it will be received. It’s not Dawn of the Dead or anything, more of a drama series that just happens to be set in a world over run by the Walking Dead.
I’m glad they’re giving it a chance with a second season. I’m all for more zombie drama on TV. After all, with the political world just FILLED with zombie-types, there’s plenty of casting fodder! 🙂 *snicker*
First episode was stellar! I don’t remember MadMen season one being only 6 episodes
Baaah! I hate the kid who plays Carl… is not like the Comic… and why Shane is not already dead? Why Nick is such a JACK from lost… I wished the show was more like the comics.

I think res1492’s source is accurate. I’m almost certain The Walking Dead is being replaced by a show about a pie enthusiast. 😉
