    I really liked this series.
Had the looks of CSI Miami, action of ER and enough drama and instigating relations among the medical staff.
    I’ll miss Miami Medical

  3. alice Says:

I like this series and please don’t cancelled this show….

  4. Michelle Says:

I liked this show too it was fast paced and had some really good storylines, why do they always cancel the shows I like.

  5. juli Says:

    give it a chance

  6. juli Says:

It sdidnt have enough time to grow a little

  7. Dominique Says:

I can not believe its being cancelled. I lived for this show. Its how i got through the week.

  8. Dominique Says:

I can not believe it has been cancelled. It is the only reason i get through the week! Im going to cry.

  9. Jessie Says:

I really liked Miami Medical… Why do all the shows I like get cancelled? Is it karma? Anyway, it sucks…

  10. patty Says:

Can’t believe it is cancelled and why show repeats if 13 shows were filmed at least finish it. May be another time slot. I can’t believe cbs is so quick to cancel this great show when there is so much garbage on now. I love csi but how many more like that do we have to have on before it is overkill. This series will be sadly missed.

  11. tornado Says:

i loved this show…it getting cancelled now means there won’t be a crossover between it and csi miami…i guess tv companies have never heard of a day called SATURDAY.

  12. tornado Says:

    * – it would’ve been cool to see a crossover between it and csi miami is what i meant to say

  13. Tammy Says:

I am utterly angered at the knowledge of Miami Medical being cancelled. I cannot believe that they are cancelling a show that haven’t even given a chance to thrive. Miami Medical is one of the best shows and for that to be cancelled is sickening. It’s getting to a point where all the good shows are being cancelled and all the stupid shows are somehow being renewed. I think the networks need to rethink their cancellations and ask the VIEWING audience what they want to say and go.

  14. jack Says:

You get somthing good on tv for once and then they want to cancell I was a big er fan untill it stared to get more like a soap oprea. I thought this show would be differant. good while it lasted.

  15. Samantha Says:

I was just getting into this show :( I think that it had a lot of potential with interesting story-lines and great character development. We were just beginning to learn about the back-stories of the main characters. I think this show should have been given more time to develop. The whole premise of ‘the golden-hour’ made for some really interesting episodes. I hope it will get picked up by another network and given a chance. I’m surprised it has gotten such low ratings because I admit I really enjoy it.

  16. reenie Says:

too bad–show was good. nothing good on Friday night anymore–will have to watch the food channel!!

  17. Maria Says:

T___T why? This is such a good show! I was getting into it so much. Everything about it was so awesome!!! Now I’m going to be depressed this who week.

  18. Pam Says:

why cancel a show before it finds its foothold? this is already a great show, but has the potential to be so much more!!! the characters have “heart”, the stories are believable and the suspense is attracting. leave it on air!!!!

  19. Sue Says:

I don’t know how you can even think of cancelling this show. When you think you know whats going to happen WOW the unexpected happens, you are on the edge of your seat every week, haven’t been this excited about a show in a long time.

  20. messysmith Says:

I can’t believe CBS would cancel a show this awesome! If it wasn’t for NCIS and CSI:MIAMI being on CBS, I wouldn’t even turn to that channel at all. I had nothing to watch on Fridays before Miami Medical came along and now I’m gonna have to watch something boring, like reruns of something I’ve seen millions of times.

  21. dex Says:

Hope CBS would not cancel Miami Medical! I really love the show!!!

  22. Karen Anderson Says:

This is one of the best new show Please give it a longer time for people to find it!

  23. Hoser Says:

Miami Medical is great. If there’s any justice in the world, CSI Miami should be cancelled and Miami Medical should take its place.

  24. Wade Says:

Miami Medical is awesome. On Friday Nights for is Flashpoint and Miami Medical. Maybe another network will pick it up and give it life. I hope so. Or CBS could move it to another night and see how it does. LOVE THIS SHOW.

  25. Jan Says:

How long has this show been own? I just came acrossed it last week? Cancel more reality shows, and leave the good shows on.

  26. TAS Says:

This was a really good show but it seems the networks do not give any show a chance but shows that that are garbage appear to continue. I enjoyed the cast maybe USA will pick it up and make it huge success and then CBS can kick themselves. Networks used to move a show around on the schedule and give it time to get viewers attention. NOw the shows are maybe 6 weeks of new episodes and then reruns and then they have mid season replacements. I remember a season would start the beginning of September, then the season would end around mid June then the summer was reruns. Now you just find a show you like and it is cancelled. How do the networks expect to have a viewer following when it is here today and go tomorrow. The viewers are getting tired of the revolving door of shows and why bother watching every week when you can watch a rerun in a short period of time or else it just goes away.

  27. Dan Says:

    This show was atrocious.

It was another example of Bruckheimer & co. underestimating their audience. There was no character development beyond: Serena is neurotic and young, but helpful; Proctor is mysterious and cool; Zambrano loves her family and being Cuban; and Chris is suave and hip, but totally a good doctor.

Episodes were aired out of order, which made the slow reveal of Proctor’s past a ludicrous folly. The only time spent not looking like CSI: Miami was when they would go to the bar at the end of EVERY EPISODE and make a slight revelation about an assumption made previously in the episode. Everything always works out for our cute, young, successful doctors.

Oh, did Zambrano sleep with Proctor? Character development? Potential PLOT? No! She just slept in his bed and it was never mentioned again! Because that would be too risque!

Also, the awful one-liners and pitiful attempt at cute banter fails at every attempt.

And as a final note, it is pretty unrealistic for doctors to explain every medical term to each other. ER, a fantastic medical drama, didn’t underestimate their audience, didn’t act baby them. ER had wonderful character development, balanced with trauma-of-the-week stories that weren’t contrived and dramatized in the teaser, only to be immediately forgotten.

CBS was right to cancel this show, but it’s only the first step in a line of terrible, predictable, and safe programming that has been nothing but a cash cow for the network. I say, cut all of the CSIs, all of the NCISs, all of the procedurals and medical/legal dramas, and start writing real television again.

    Good riddance.

  28. paul bown Says:

Not everyone watches # one shows..I never watched Seinfeld..but I do watch Miami Medical and FlashForward..and The Unit.I guess being # one is what it is all about..

  29. Pamela Says:

I loved this show and i was very unhappy to hear that they canceled this show they didnt even give a chance to give it time to grow in fan base and i wish they would put it back on I’m gonna miss it

  30. Johanna Says:

omg! no! i can’t believe it! i loved this show, a lot of drama, fast-paced so it never got boring, and enough different cases! i can’t believe it is being cancelled! although it would have been nice to see the follow-up of the patients from the previous week, i really did enjoy the show. why are all good shows being cancelled? samantha who was great, now miami medical. this was the really the reason i got through the week at times.

miami medical really wasn’t given enough time to develop properly.

i mean, i can stop watching all shows soon, what’s the point of getting into a show when it’s going to be cancelled within a few episodes anyway? :(

  31. nicholous Says:

wow im pissed that i think is one of the best medical shows on tv period. cbs is dumb for canceling such a good show. we know every show cant sky rocket in rating its first season look at family guy and there a huge hit let the show breath and let people know about the show i didnt know about the show till early may and found out they were thinking about canceling it i was really pissed. cbs should keep this show i am positive the show will get big just have too let it grow from its shell. after lost this was my new number one show that i will promote and love and encourage for many years too come

CBS IS REALLY GOING TOO PISS OFF MILLIONS OF PEOPLE IF THIS SHOW IS CANCELED AND THAT IS A FACT.

  32. Mary Says:

I really enjoyed this show, in my opinion CBS did not give this show a chance. Airing it on a Friday night was already a death wish. Probably would be around if it aired on Thursday night. CBS need to give it another chance. I did notice it did not say confirmed next the listing

  33. Jerod Says:

I am so glad this shitty show was cancelled.. it was a plague to the very existence of what TV should be. I now actually like CBS for not just airing another pathetic drama just because it’s filmed in HD.

  34. RickyC Says:

The first episode of Miami Medical that I watched was really depressing. I’m used to medical shows being a bit of a downer but they are more often than not uplifting and hopeful by the end. NOT MM. NO. The episode I watched had a foursome of golfers. One guy gets attacked by a ‘gator as he wades in the water hazard to retreive his golf ball. The ‘gator bites off his foot. The rescuers get injured helping the guy. One belatedly dies as a result of a head injury after he refuses treatment to be by his injured buddy’s side during his operation. A 17 year-old golfer with a promising pro career loses an arm because of a flesh-eating disease contracted after getting a cut from the murky water hazard. But, the guy who had his foot bitten off gets it sewn back on. Yea!?!
The hospital staff that treated the injured couldn’t have been more incompetent. Not one had a personality that I could identify with and none had relationships worth noting. A complete waste of my time.
After that episode I knew the series wasn’t for me. If I want a dose of depression with my entertainment I’ll stick to reality TV programs or just watch a rerun of House which at least makes me laugh once in awhile.

  35. kari Says:

love this show – I’m a CSI fanatic (the original of course) and this is one of the few shows I watch outside of crime and such. Characters are great, story lines are great and like another post stated it’s not all about people hooking up and making out – it’s stories about the patients … can’t believe it’s cancelled! Bad Decision.

  36. Fred Says:

Miami Medical was not just a Jerry Bruckhimer show, but of all the 1 hr medical shows, the most accurate and dramatic. Just think now that CBS has that timeslot open they can introduce CSI:Canada and NCIS:las vegas.

For me, moving a good concept show like CSI or NCIS to another city is just unoriginal. Trying to tie them together with guest appearances from the original is a bandaid approach to get loyal viewers to watch, and putting them back to back is just to make DVR programming mistakes grab the new series.

Miami Medical encompassed modern trauma care and made us realize the importance of a real trauma center. It clearly isolated trauma treatment in a realistic life/death scenario and showed modern scenarios of decisions, legal issues, medical issues, with character development, character lives, and was loaded with charasmatic actors and actresses.

CBS gave it 3 months? Come on. It takes me a month just to add it to my DVR schedule permanently to record all new shows. Now CBS is advertising “hawaii five oh” – the remake? what could we possibly re-do on a 25+ year old show that didn’t make the cut then?

I must wonder if CBS realizes the actors (patients) seen in the trauma ward of Miami Medical would still be recovering as they cancel the whole series.

This is not the first of CBS’s dumb decisions to axe good drama and introduce garbage to HDTV. We have this fantastic new picture quality and zero programming to match the quality of the signal.

Fans of Jericho (sic?) were equally disappointed when CBS cancelled the series with everything open – it came back for another partial season before getting the CBS axe.

Perhaps it is time to sort out the network advertisers and let them know that the network they spent their ad money with did some really stupid things and point out the popularity of good cable programming that is being renewed.

Fortunately there are some very good cable series out (re)-starting mid July:

Memphas beat (very new – takes some getting used to)
    Breaking Bad
    Whale wars
    Royal Pains
Leverage, and more – check USA network, A&E, TNT, Universal HD,

While CBS and NBC axe their good shows and promote stupid vomitus sitcoms like “2.5 men” (which has been around way too long – the list just goes on forever) to keep “open” their good timeslots while the cable networks run their best at 7PM with a repeat at 10PM.

Not only do the networks air a new show only once, with the exception of fox’s 24 that lasted 8 years with frequent encore airings of important episodes, the cable networks run full seasons leaving them ready for another. Breaking bad was originally to be a 1 year show, but its popularity took A&E’s sunday slot to #1 on cable and brought a continuation to a second season, and then a third because of the audience and has since become one of the best watched network series with some hard drama, good acting, and good writing.

So the CBS lineup will be a worthless sitcom “2.5 men” 5 nights a week, 3 CSI’s, 2 NCIS’s, and 1 hawaii 5-0. wow. I might watch one then check my DVR’s stash of cable programming in HDTV.

  37. allan Says:

i really like the show, i am learning and having fun… i wish they wont remove the show.

  38. Heather Says:

We really liked this show. Was a great Friday night show. Very sad to hear this.

  39. sandra Says:

i can’t believe this show was canceled! all the shows i watch get canceled. american idol ugh….survivor ugh…reality shows… what are we a bunch of idiots? tv is supposed to entertain and that is why i watch tv. there is enough reality in the world today and it is nice to escape the horrors if only for a little while. i guess i won’t be watching much tv anymore.

  40. mogur2 Says:

CBS and I have problems with Friday night shows. Moonlight, 3 Rivers, and now Miami Medical have been canceled.

I enjoyed these three shows much more than some that CBS still produces.

  41. Carol Lister Says:

Miami Medical is one of the best “medical” shows on TV. Enjoyed their patient stories without all the sex in hospital closets. It is a shame that it has been cancelled.

  42. Carol Lister Says:

Miami Medical is one of the best “medical” shows on TV. Enjoyed their patient stories without all the sex in hospital closets. It is a shame that it has been canceled.

  43. rick Scott Says:

dont Cancel this show its the best Medical show on TV,the problem was there was no adds for the show it was missed by many veiwers then picked up in reruns its a great show

  44. Helen Says:

Bring Miami Medical back!! it was a very good show… Better than the dumb reality shows that are on TV today!!

  45. Susan Says:

What? This is the best medical show on tv. CSI Miami, CSI, these two shows are laughable seeing the women all wearing clothes and highheel shoes out in the field that would not be acceptable in a real workplace. Get real!!

  46. Johnny Boy Says:

Please bring it back. The Friday time slot was tough to begin with. But with HDDVR it was something we watched later that nights or on Saturday night. A Great Show. Thanks to all the actors for a job well done

  47. SHADOW21 Says:

Once again, CBS is axing Miami Medical, undoubtedly be replaced by yet another moronic reality show. I have to be honest. I rarely watch network TV anymore. With the cable channels offering intelligent entertaining shows such as Leverage, Burn Notice, Royal Pains, and Memphis Beat, I don’t bother with the Big Three (reality) networks. I hope one the cable networks sees the light and picks up Miami Medical. I’m sure it will be a major success when taken out of the hands of the programming management morons at CBS.

  48. billellsd Says:

    I’m sooooo pissed!!!!!!!!!!
I love Miami Medical, Mercy, Heroes, and Flashfoward!!!!!!!!!!!
And what do they replace it with? Vapid, inane, bubble headed reality shows with NO socially redeeming qualities what so ever!!!!!

  49. Lisa Says:

What a DRAG that this show is being cancelled. Like many of the other people who have written in, I generally don’t watch much network TV anymore. There are so many really dumb, just dumb shows…when others in the house are watching TV, I’ve gotten to the point I just about don’t watch TV without my laptop on my lap because I’m so bored with what’s on the screen. I spend a good part of the time cruising the Web. Or I read. The TV execs had better smarten up…they’ve already lost so many viewers. Decisions like cancelling MM are just going to send more people away.

Well this makes 4 medical shows that I loved got canceled right from the start. Mercy, Three Rivers, Trauma, and now Miami Med. The only one is left is Hawthorne on TNT, which is a great med. show. Can’t believe all these good shows are being canceled. Lets bring on some more crappy reality shows, we don’t have enough of this crap already. This sucks big time!!!! Happy Town even got canceled. what the hell????

  52. Amanda Says:

DON”T CANCEL MIAMI MEDICAL!!!!! This show is really good!! You haven’t even given it a chance!!!

  53. Glory Shelmadine Says:

I am really upset that another show I like has been cancelled, In addition to Three Rivers which I loved, Miami Medical was one of my favorites. If I couldn’t watch it, I always recorded it for a later time. It really wasn’t given a chance as others have stated and again CBS should rethink their strategies in choosing what they keep and what they cancel!!! Don’t they ask the public first? I doubt it!!!

  54. DONNA Says:

Miami Medical deserves a chance. One of the best shows on TV. Tired of all these half hour sitcoms that are only use sex to try and be funny. What happened to good old fashioned humor.

  55. Deborah Says:

I was shocked to find that Miami Medical was no longer showing. I have(had) my DVR set to record the show so I wouldn’t miss them. There are a lot of other shows/sitcoms that really don’t need to be on TV.

  56. Peter Says:

Miami Medical was fresh, lively, and supported by a great cast..what gives?? I looked foward to seeing it with Trauma… It goes to show “All good things do come to an end”
    shame,shame

  57. lisa Says:

We LOVED this show…full of action right from the start with personal story lines!!! CBS cancelled a great show…!!

  58. TK Says:

DO NOT CANCEL MIAMI MEDICAL!!! Besst show of the season…great actors and great stories! It was hard to get my teenagers to watch because they were expecting the sex-capades of Greys Anatomy, but once I finally got them to watch, they were hooked! Fresh take on medical drama!! LOVE IT!
