Update: CBS cancels Medium one season after saving it.
We are reviewing all the cancelled shows and renewed shows of the season.
And CBS came out of the gates axing and saving.
CBS renewed Medium.
Medium renewal by CBS came in the middle of some huge renewals and cancellation news: Chuck got renewed by NBC, Heroes is getting cancelled, Law & Order cancellation, One Tree Hill renewal, Life Unexpected renewal, V renewal by ABC, Romantically Challenged cancellation, Better Off Ted cancellation, Flash Forward cancellation, Mercy Cancellation, The Wanda Sykes Show cancellation, Trauma cancellation, Law & Order SVU renewal, Cold Case cancellation, Miami Medical Cancellation, Numbers cancellation, Ghost Whisperer renewal, so…
Medium gets renewed and it´s a good news since the show is quite good and solid, and the new season will surely be welcome by many Medium fans.

This is the 3rd time when I have really liked a Friday CBS show.
What is wrong with you people? You cancel Joan of Arcdia, Ghost Whisperer and now Medium.
And add another cop show? Come on, listen to your viewers. CBS has always been a leader among the big 3 networks. This will just drive alot of people to cable and satellite to watch re-reuns of the shows you have cancelled.
one more suggestion, no more cop shows and reality shows, both are saturating TV and you can only use the same idea so many times before people start being board.

I am disappointed that Medium is no longer going to be on tv. Why are all the big tv networks getting rid of good shows and giving us shows like ON THE MAP. Give me a break. Isn’t there enough medical shows. I want a show that has something special. Shame on the networks for not beliving in great tv.
I didn’t know it was being cancelled until I watched the series finale tonight. I was a fanatical Friday night viewer with Ghost Whisperer-Medium-Numbers now all three are gone. I stayed with Medium CSI NY and Blue Bloods and was almost happy again with Friday night at CBS.. well that’s over Back to Friday nights on Facebook or ABC NBC hope your sponsors will be happy with all the lost viewers.

I am sick about the cancellation of Medium. I love, love, love that show. It’s my favorite of all the shows available to me. I always watch or DVR it. I think it is a crappy decision to cancel this show. I am already having withdrawals thinking that there will be no new Medium. I despise the reality shows! They are crap that can’t be watched if your children could come through the room. But I won’t watch them anyway. Their characters have NO depth.
THE ONLY THING I WOULD HAVE CHANGED—TURN ON THE LIGHTS–I HAD A HARD TIME SEEING THE WONDERFUL PEOPLE.

I loved Medium, I will miss it a lot, it had a loving family, was it too like a family should be. Maybe a network will bring it back…..you know it was all a dream.
Medium was one of my very favorite shows and I’m just sick it was cancelled. I didn’t know until I watched the final episode last
night, which was very good by the way. I’m so sad it’s over!
I’m done with CBS. So sad to see that Medium was canceled. This was the last of my favorite shows that CBS has thrown away. Guess i don’t have a reason to watch CBS any longer.
I guess all good things must come to an end but this end was far too premature. I am not an avid Television watcher however Medium has roped my attention from the begining. Say what you want about the similar structure of each episode but I enjoyed that sense of solidity. It grounded the characters and allowed for their quirky personalities to shine. Patricia Arquette is amazing and Jake weber was the most supportive husband. Ok enough gushing over my loss and every other fans…Dubois family you will be missed…One more thing how can a show like Friends be on for so long and Medium gets canned…COME ON PEOPLE!!! Somebody better get it together in TV land or Oprah will buy your network and cancel you!…the end..lol
I watched medium “on demand” last night and was shocked when I realized it was the last show. I was completely traumatized! The show was my favorite. I even cried! Can we bring it back and Allison can just wake up from a bad dream?
And to think we did get a new try after the move from one network to another
I have my DVR set to record Medium every Friday night! There is NOTHING worth watching on Friday nights so this is the only show I do watch and now CBS has screwed up my Friday’s! It’s one of the few decent shows left! I am sick to death of the reality shows and others like it clogging up the good slots!
Why are all of the TV stations pulling the good shows? I miss ER, LOST and now Medium! It’s getting to a point where I won’t even watch local channels anymore because all that is left is CRAP!!

i wish i had known medium was going to be cancelled. the last show really upset me. and then i see this and cold case was cancelled too. this blows. now there are only two shows i watch on your channel. someone pointed out something that would work… you could bring medium back as a bad dream of alison’s. it worries me all that all the good entertainment is being replaced by crap.
Why would CBS cancel such a wonderful show with all the trash that is on TV? Medium not only had wonderful story lines but showed how families should behave, parents who loved and respected each other and loved their children. I think that is what I will miss most of all. Patricia you are the best.
Way to go CBS. Medium and Cold Case were the ONLY 2 shows I watched on your network. No need to watch now. Let’s just hope another network (a cable one perhaps?) picks these 2 amazing shows up.
I am a huge fan of Medium.I too was totally blown away that it will no longer be on . I live in a small town in Ar. I have talked to at least 50 people that agree with me that CBS will no longer be a network watched in our home.It was so nice to sit down and actually watch a show that had heart.I guess that CBS doesn’t care if the people that have been devoted to their network are happy or not.If the Medium doesn’t come back to CBS then neither do I!

I was also very upset with CBS for cancelling Medium. They changed stations and then changed the night it was on. Did they ever think maybe people was having a hard time finding it? I was horrified to see the last episode. Please Please Please RECONSICER CBS I think you have made a huge MISTAKE!!!!!!!!!!
When Medium first came on the air, we loved it. But as the series progressed the story lines of bringing in the kids having the same powers it just became on the point of unbelieveable. I loved the relationship with her and her hubby. Also it was refreshing to see a woman protrayed with normal clothing and a house not right out of Good Housekeeping. But the storylines I thought got tedious. We stopped watching so it will not be missed in my book. Now Moonlighting and Numbers is another thing. Loved the shows and hated to see them cancelled. Same goes for Rubicon, but I guess I love the quirkly.
I hate that you cancelled Medium. My husband & I watched this show. It was one of about 4 shows on the local channels that we both liked. Can’t you bring it back and say the ending was just a dream?
it would be nice if medium would return to cbs aiong with ghost whisper,i miss coming home an turning on the tube just relaxing and watching my favorite show.
big bang theory is one of my favor shows it would be nice if cbs would put that show back on mondays and put rule of engagement on thursday oh an enough with all the cop show(hawii 50,blue cops)in the end they are all doing the samething enough.
Well it’s the 3rd of June 2011 and I”m still having “Medium” withdrawals.
I watched an old episode the other day and dreamed of when there was actually something
entertaining on the “brain dead activity” we call watching television.
What has happened to the world today?
I so do miss Mediums twisted story lines coupled with the very realistic every day shenanigans of family life.
Television today is so dictated by ratings, budgets, marketing and fads.
Where has the humility gone? The soul?
What puzzles me is how a show like “Two and a Half Men” can continue to run?
Who the hell would waste their precious time watching such rubbish?
At the end of the day, all we can do now is look back with fondness, a show that brought back
an element of wholesomeness and a realistic look into how families actually are.

Some times it is hard trying to throw yourself into a show and wonder what direction the story line is taking and wonder if your going to follow throw in looking at the master piece that is being put together…But anything is worth a second look?
I think you should bring medium bake and ghost whisperer. you take the good shows and you replace them with reality shows. i’ so tired of nothing being on tv but reality shows. i related to medium and ghost whisperer. it helped me understand myself. bring them back. the money you pay for those stupid reality shows can pay for shows that people really like and enjoy.
