Mercy gets cancelled and it´s not a big surprise since the show couldn´t find the groove. Even though they had a mid season extended order.

There are very few shows that I actually looked forward to watching, Mercy was one of them. I just checked today to see when it would be starting again and was horribly disappointed to
read that it’s been cancelled. The show offered a cast that
actually came across as “Real”. We all can relate to one character
or another. I hope NBC reconsiders, they should give Mercy a
chance. It’s one of the best shows out there.
I am soo tired of any show I really like getting cancelled and they like to do that alot when they just leave you hanging at the end and you never know what was going to happen next. They did that with Dark Angel and with John Doe as well. Most of the shows I loved watching are now cancelled. Flash Forward, Heroes, Monk, Mercy, and who knows what else. What a bummer. Pretty soon there isn’t going to be anything on t.v. anymore besides dumb reality shows. I guess its too damn complicated for writers to use their brains and come up with real shows with real story lines, so instead they put on stupid reality shows. People want to say how some actual shows have no story line what they think reality shows do? How many seasons of survivor does there need to be? Isn’t it all pretty much the same crap over and over again just with new people? I don’t understand these t.v. networks. Rather than going by nielson ratings why don’t they take a poll? I work most evenings so I dvr all of my shows, don’t they take into consideration all the people who are dvr’ing and tivo’ing the shows? whatever!

I agree with lora May 16th 2010(Post) Really! NBC needs to reconsider MERCY. We should be heard. Cause, we are the ones who watch the show faithfully. And with the season finale…, Now we will never know about Trachtenberg and Van Der Beek. THANKS NBC for>>>…….Leaving US Hanging!

I can’t freakin believe NBC cancelled Mercy!!!! Now I have nothing to look forward to watch.. My husband and I watch Chuck that was his show and Mercy was mine and now I’m left to just watch chuck. not that I’m upset about chuck because I love chuck too, but this was a MAJOR HORRIBLY bad decision on NBC’s part I do hope they bring it back and soon!!
I can not believe both Mercy and Trauma have been cancelled. To be replaced by another, yet increasingly lamer, reality show no doubt. When are TV executives going to wake up and stop cancelling such intense shows that so many people love and replace them with mind numbing shows featuring (not starring!!!) has-beens or never-were people. HBO keeps looking better all the time.
We are very disappointed, and almost devastated that our favorite show Mercy has been cancelled. Is there a reason other than the show could not find a groove? We thought the show had found a groove and it was a dam good one. Mercy is just as good as Grey’s Anatomy! We want out show back!
Please, please, please bring Mercy back. I agree with Glenn and Carole, it is just as good as Grey’s Anatomy.
Ugh I am so mad! Why keep the crappy reality shows that are a dime a dozen and get rid of a great show like Mercy?! Mercy was one of the few medical dramas/comedies to focus more on the nurses than the doctors! I also loved the characters and the acting was superb. Now I’m starting to see why no one I know watches NBC.
I am extremely sad about mercy not having a second season. I LOVED IT! I want to know what happened sooo bad! and wow NBC is really losing it, they cancel all the good shows, just because sappy and prissy girls want the shows that don’t show any blood, please. I served in Iraq doing the same thing veronica did. wow.
Please give mercy another shot!!!

I am very upset with nbc… I thought MERCY was a great show. It became a big nite for me and my teenage girls.. they watch it with me. and when you changed the date , we followed to. NBC give it a second look. I and then maybe I’LL START WATCHING NBC again.

Why are all the good shows with taste and classy entertainment getting the axe while the dumb mindless shows get renewed. First Ghost Whisperer now Mercy. Gee whats next Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice, Criminal Minds….These broadcasting stations are clearly out of touch with their viewing audience!
Mercy was one of the best TV series I’ve seen and I’m very upset they canceled it after one season. Nothing like getting you hooked on a show with a great story line and then suddenly dropping it! VERY POOR JUDGEMENT ON NBC’S PART.
I think it’s crap that the show was cancelled….look at the number of soldiers coming back from the Middle East and are suffering with PTSD not to mention the doctors and nurses that served. This show may have also helped someone who was thinking about enlisting or to go into the medical field make a decision.
I am a teenager and I really liked this show. I’ve already re-watched the first and only season twice. They can’t end a show like they did,especially after all that horrible stuff happened. Veronica,Sonia and Chloe all had to leave their feelings at the door… it really shed light on the more important positions in the hospital. I’ve been in and out of the hospital all my life and nurses really do put their patients first. So disappointed. would do anything for it to be put back on… they do that stuff all the time right?
I am so upset that Mercy was cancelled. I was a big fan. I have been waiting and waiting to see what happened. the finale left everyone hanging. what happened to the pregnancy and the Dr. Veronica was cheating on her husband with? what happened to the hubby? so many unanswered questions. not fair to leave viewers and fans hanging. I think personally it was just like the Sopranos. NOT COOL!!!

I mean come on…maybe some things could have been made better but get some new writers but ending it at the end of the first season is a total waste!! I think this show could have gone a long way with its characters. I had much rather watch a show like this than some stupid mess they have on most of the time. NBC get a clue!!
Just found out Mercy was cancelled and not coming back. Like so many others I HATE reality show and finally found a GREAT show like Mercy and after getting so involved with the characters you take it off the air. What a shame. Taking evering thing from us baby bommers. Finally getting to retire and taking off soaps and good shows like Mercy and Trauma and leaving us with dopey reality shows!!!!!
i loved mercy show all of the ER taurma shows out there was all the same but mercy was a breath of fresh air it always left u on the edge of ur seat at the end of the eposide. it was so good i was sitting in front of the tv ten min. early before it came on and i can saw there are very few shows i do that on. but i hope they bring it back NO THEY NEED TO BRING MERCY BACK!!!!!

I just started watching this show on netflix and I’m hooked. So sad that there isn’t another season after I’m done with this one. Bad mistake on NBC’s part. They just needed more time for this show to get popular because not everyone has time to tune in for all these shows! BRING MERCY BACK. I got all my friends hooked too..

I quit watching NBC pretty quit watching Tv except when I buy dvds and blurays. Why would I want to watch reality shows when I live in and work in reality? Why do I want to watch people be stuid on camera when I see it in real life? Why take good shows off the air like Mercy and Trauma and leave us crap to watch?
I just finished watching the last episode of Mercy on Neflix and I gotta say the 1st thing I did was google if there was another season. Some ppl’s, well everyone’s comments, are rght on! This show definetely deserved to stay on. And like any new show that is similar to other medical dramas, they need time to catch on. In the case of Mercy, it did catch on. It is dissappointing to know networks keep shoving dumb, pointless, mind numbing reality shows down our throats! STOP! Smart and interesting ppl also watch TV and deserve good quality programing. I rarely voice my opinions like this but
As sad as it is, I think I am actually depressed because this show was cancelled. I’m saving the last two episodes of it (Hulu) for rainy days. It has been my escape for a long time. I’m so sad it’s cancelled.

Or most definately DO NOT care about a MAN who has humpteen dozen wives and still get ratings enough to stay on the air without being illegal
WHAT IS TV COMING TO?
Mercy was the greatest show ever! I didn’t watch it when it was on but then was looking for something to watch so I watched it on HULU.com. I was so into it I could’t stop watching it. They laste episode of Season 1 was such a cliff hanger! I loved both MIke and Chris! You could have at least not ended it with such a big unknown. Could you a least let us know what was in the works for the second season. Post it online for us to read so we can be at ease!
This was seriously a great show! I haven’t seen a show like this in a long time. I made it a point never to miss it!!! Please bring it back!
This is unbelievable! this was such a great show. i just finished watching it on hulu and was disappionted when i saw the last aired date was in ’10. it had a rocky start but toward the end it was as good as Greys Anatomy(which is absolutley my favorite show)! I hope somewhere down the line it comes bck on….
Yeahh I just finished watching the whole show on DVD, how are they going to leave the ending like that, at least make one more year of it, so we atleast have an ending!!!! Wtf
