lebron james signs withAfter a lot of suspense, finally Lebron James announced on ESPN he joins the Miami Heat

In a not so unexpected move, The King Lebron James signs with Miami Heat.

After Chris Bosh and Dwayne Wade teaming up in Miami Heat, many thought he would follow them, and see Lebron James joining Miami Heat.

But, a lot of rumours arose around Lebron James signing with The New York Knicks and that meant stocks for Madison Square Garden went to the roof.

After Carlos Boozer signing in the Chicago Bulls, Lebron joining the Bulls seemed a far reach.

And of course the Cinderella love story with hometown had all the appeal (and the money) if Lebron James stays in Cleveland.

• The New York Knicks were counting on the magic of Manhattan, Madison Square Garden and their recent agreement with Amare Stoudemire to make Lebron sign with the Knicks.
• The New Jersey Nets appealed to James’ global ambitions with Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov, rap mogul Jay-Z — a close friend of James — a young roster and their planned move to Brooklyn to make Lebron sign with the Nets.
• The Chicago Bulls, who at one point looked to be at the front of the line for James’ services, have rising stars Derrick Rose and Joakim Noah, money to spend and just secured free agent forward Carlos Boozer, who played with James in Cleveland to make Lebron sign with the Bulls.
• And then there was the Heat. Miami’s now got two All-Stars and is eager to make room for a third. It’s assumed Wade, Bosh and James all would have to take less money to play together, but the chance to win one, two, three or more titles might be enough to convince them to join forces and build a dynasty under president Pat Riley, who might even wind up as their coach to make Lebron sign with the Heat.

What do you think about Lebron joining Miami Heat and teaming up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh?
