It´s a good day to be May Poehler. Still getting the praise for her Golden Globe co-hosting duty, but also with a threefold good news from her NBC relationship:
First of all, one many people will be happy about: Parks And Recreation is getting renewed for season seven. As was announced today during NBC´s TCA. (Another interesting thing was the fact that they went ahead to note that this not affects Community´s chances, as those depends only on the sitcom performance and creative angle. Maybe Six seasons and a movie?).
But, back to Amy Poehler, NBC picked up a Pilot from her, so far called the Untitled Amy Poehler project, under working title Old Soul, starring Natasha Lyonne, in which Lyonne plays a young woman who’s trying to find herself, but in the meantime she’s working as the aide to a group of elderly people. Show is from Amy Poehler, Dave Becky, Jon Fener and Josh Bycel.
Not only that, but also Amy Poehler has signed a three-year producing deal with Universal Television.
What do you think about all this? Are you happy Parks and Recreation got renewed for season seven? How about the other stuff? Let me know in the comments. And follow me on Twitter for more scoop.
