I´m still far away on completing the catching up on all the cancelled and renewed shows that happened in the last month and a half or so. And continuing with CW, after it renewed America´s Next Top Model for two more cycles, and they also renewed Vampire Diaries for season three. But things did not stop there, since CW renewed Gossip Girl for season five and also CW renewed 90210 for season four.
This is the heir of the classical 90´s Beverly Hills 90210, the one that followed the Walsh, remember? Well, this one features the Wilsons among others in Beverly Hills.
The most famous Zip Code in the world, now getting another chance after CW renewed 90210 for season four. Can this version also get to one hundred episodes? It is perhaps a safe bet, but only time will tell.
It has been announced that Lori Loughlin and Ryan Eggold’s contracts will not be picked up for season four, as the series will focus on the transition to college, so there will be less emphasis on teachers and parents, although Lori Loughlin has been invited to guest star.
Trevor Donovan won´t come back as a regular either, but will appear in five episodes of season four. Apparently 90210 will cut back the cast a little, making the renewal order for 90210 a little more pocket friendly, making season five a more optimistical possibility.

So, no more Brandon and Brenda Walsh, but, Annie and Dixon Wilson… anyhow… the show´s stillo rolling and on a good note.

90210 is a teen drama developed by Rob Thomas, Jeff Judah and Gabe Sachs, and the fourth series in the Beverly Hills, 90210 franchise created by Darren Star. 90210 is the first series produced by CBS Productions under the company’s re-launch, but now produced by CBS Television Studios. The series premiered on The CW on September 2, 2008 with a two-hour series premiere event.
The series revolves around the Wilson family, along with other rich teenage students at the fictional West Beverly Hills High, where Annie Wilson (Shenae Grimes) and Dixon Wilson (Tristan Wilds) begin attendance. Their father, Harry Wilson (Rob Estes), returns from Kansas to his childhood home of Beverly Hills with his family to care for his mother, former television star Tabitha Wilson (Jessica Walter), who has a drinking problem. Annie and Dixon struggle to adjust to their new lives while making new friends and adhering to their parents’ wishes. 90210 features cast members from the original series; featured guests include Jennie Garth, Shannen Doherty, Tori Spelling, Ann Gillespie, and Joe E. Tata.

Before the premiere, Thomas announced that he was leaving the series to focus on other projects. Sachs and Judah were hired as the new executive producers and wrote a new version of the Thomas script. Midway through the first season, Sachs and Judah stopped writing for the series and were replaced by Rebecca Rand Sinclair. Sinclair signed a deal with the producers to serve as executive producer and showrunner for the second and third seasons. The series was picked up for a full season with 24 episodes and renewed for a second season of 22 episodes.

Cupid is a romantic dramedy about Trevor, a larger than life character who may or may not be the Roman god of love, Cupid, sent to earth to bring couples together. As fate would have it, Trevor is under the care of famous psychologist and self-help author Dr. Claire Allen, who is also dedicated to helping lonely hearts find their soul mates. While she agrees with his cause, she questions whether he’s crazy or really is Cupid.
Cupid stars Bobby Cannavale as Trevor, Sarah Paulson as Claire, Rick Gomez as Felix and Camille Guaty as Lita. Produced by ABC Studios. Rob Thomas serves as executive producer/writer along with executive producers Jennifer Gwartz, Danielle Stokdyk, Dan Etheridge and Bharat Nalluri.
The original version was from 1998, also created by Rob Thomas, and starring Jeremy Piven as Cupid, Paula Marshall as Dr Allen.
Rob Thomas was also creator of TV Hit Show Veronica Mars, and has written several 90210 and Dawson´s Creek episodes.
