After Leonard told Penny he loves her she wasn´t ready to say it back, and things spiraled to her leaving him in the bowling alley saying it wasn´t fair for him and crying…
What does that mean? Are Leonard and Penny breaking up? Is the couple over?
Is, as Will Wheaton said it, that he made a couple break up in order to beat Sheldon? Did Penny leave Leonard?
Well… that´s not happening. The writers will toy around a little with the tension, but eventually Leonard and Penny will stay together.

I’m sad, too, but I know that Penny was just overwhelmed and conflicted and a little scared too, since her other relationships ended so badly. It’s gonna take some time, but she’ll realize she loves him and they’ll get back together.
I also say I am sad. I hope Nicole is right and they get back together soon. You can tell they didn’t really want to be apart.

I agree with all of you, and sure it’s really sad that they had to break up, but guys, it’s right before the season finale, they’re kind of bulding up suspension for the viewers to react. This show has been great in many aspects, and as the previous mentioned, the suspension is really on now. I can imagine the couple being off and on for a while, but hopefully realising what’s best for them.
That being said, I’m really not sure what Is best for them. Sheldon seem to suffer a bit though.
