Spoiler Alert! For everyone who saw Dexter season seven premiere ending and got shocked about the outcome, keep on reading. If you have yet to watch the episode, stay out for a while.
The episode was intense, and Deb couldn´t let go with the little explanations she got from Dexter, so she kept pushing until she confronts him with tons of evidence.
Deb asks Dexter: Did you kill all these people?
Dex says: “Yes”
Debra: Are You a serial killer?
Dex says “Yes”.
And the episode ends. Luckily I have been invited by Showtime to watch Dexter S07E02 the episode named “Sunshine and Frosty Swirl” in which when a local convict claims he has new information regarding a fifteen-year-old crime spree, Miami Metro sets out to unearth new evidence on the case. While Debra attempts to cure Dexter of his killer tendencies, the Mike Anderson case leads to the Ukrainian mob, and a vengeful Louis won’t stop meddling with Dexter’s life.
But after watching the episode, I will tell you a couple more things about the episode, although I´m only going to talk about the first ten minutes of the episode as not to give out spoilers on Dexter S07E02.
Best moments and quotes from Dexter S07E02 Sunshine And Frosty Swirl
Dexter: I´ve dreaded this moment my whole life, but I´ve never pictured it like this
Deb: Don´t you fuckin´ touch me!
Dexter: I just want to know you are ok
Deb: I am not ok; I am never gonna be fuckin´ ok
Deb: How long have you been doing this? How long have you been fuckin´ doing this?
Dexter: Since I was twenty
Deb: Jesus Fuckin´Christ, Dexter
Deb: Are you the Bay Harbor Butcher?
Dexter: I only kill certain kind of people, like Travis. Deb, dad taught me; he gave me a code
Deb: Dad knew?
Dexter: It´s his idea, he knew everything
Dexter: Deb, please, just come back inside with me. Please.
Dexter: Harry found me sitting on a pool of my mother´s blood. He understood why I had these urges.
Deb: A lot of bad things happen to people and they don´t turn out like you
Dexter: I don´t know about other people. I know I have this need, deep inside me. I call it my Dark Passenger.
Deb: You gave me a name.
Dexter: Harry told me it got me to early, too deep, and I couldn´t change it; so he thought up the code; so if I had to kill people I might better kill people who deserved it.
Deb: You make it sound like it´s ok; like you are the victim here. People in that box, Dexter, they´re the victims.
Dexter: Victims? – And he starts telling Deb about his victims.
Deb: Call the police department.
Dexter: Sometimes the system doesn´t work.
Deb: I am the worst fucking detective in the world. You are my own brotherm how could I not see what you were doing.
Dexter: It´s not your fault.
Deb: It is now. I helped you cover up Travis´ murder. I´m an accomplice.
Dexter: You walked in on me; I had to think on my feet.
Deb: Well fuck me for ruining your night. What am I supposed to do here? My name has the word lieutenant in front of it. I can´t turn my back on this. All of this is very very fucking wrong.
Dexter: So, what are you going to do?
And Deb smashes her gun on Dex´s face
Harry: I never wanted her to go through this
Dexter: Neither did I.
Harry: Then you should´ve been more careful.
Dexter: Well, she didn´t arrest me
Harry: Not yet.
Dexter (looking at the hand): What is this doing here? Is this some kind of message? Maybe someone else is onto me?
And that´s up to the tenth minute of the episode. I won´t go any further as not to give any spoilers on Dexter´s S07E02 episode Sunshine and Frosty Swirl. For more, you´ll have to watch the episode.
After that tenth minute mark, there´s a great quote I want to add:
Dexter: I can appreciate the mindset of a collector, but toys? Seems like a waste of a good obsession.
